Re: Taking the plunge

I have to be @CheerBear Like you, no-one else can do it for me. If anything I'm a bit OCD about all the admin stuff! But also pretty good at dodging it for a while then having a fair bit to catch up on all at once (like now). I've been back for 11 days and still have things on my list from before I went away!

Hope you get your cave day today and feel better for it.

@eth Good luck with catching up. I hope it’s not tooooo stressful.

I have a lady helping with cleaning any minute now, so had better get some organising happenings here. 💙💙💙💙

@CheerBear 👋👋👋💙💙💙

Re: Taking the plunge

How'd cleaning go @Maggie? Do you have much to do for your inspection tomorrow?

Can you please ask your cleaning helping lady if she could take a quick trip across the water and come give me a hand this arvo? 😉 I've slept most of the day. I think something is not OK for that to have happened. I couldn't get in to see anyone at the clinic I go to and didn't want to take a trip to see a random production line GP. I regret that one now it's not far from school pick up and I feel like this. The house is a mess and I need to get up and tidy it but it feels much bigger than me right now. This is definitely an annoying and stubborn bug 😑🤒

Hope there's been some OK in your day ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

When can you see someone at the clinic @CheerBear.?? It sounds more than the bug to be honest. Take care there. You must need the sleep, but I know it helps very little with all the normal run of things. I would gladly send my cleaning lady across the Tasman. She is such a lovely lady.

One of my kitchen draws fell apart as I was trying to put it back together. I might leave it for someone with some know how. It doesn’t fit now, but it did before. 😂😂😂

I better not do more regarding the flat inspection. I’ve hung a few of my cross stitch. Removed cobwebs. What more can I wreck. 😩😩

I have a Coles order coming this afternoon. Nothing in the cupboards. Hungry now.

I’m guessing you are heading to school pick up. Could someone help there?

Sending lots of 💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

It's booked out for a while @Maggie - call in the morning/s and see if a cancellation has happened, but that's it. I can probably suck it up and go to a big germ factory, gazillion people an hour GP tonight and might do that even if it's just to ask for a different asthma med. That might help. They're open late so if sib is home I can probably head up there tonight.

Oh no with the drawer! Wonky kitchen things add character perhaps? I say that about the things that are falling off and down here (when they don't annoy the :pile_of_poo: outta me 😆).

Groceries are always good when the cupboards are empty 😊 I hope there's something satisfying and yum to eat soon.

School pick up soon. I'm seriously tempted to drive. I feel like the laziest person ever when I do it though. But if I take the car I can sit in there until the kids walk out rather than have to stand around in the cold with the added bonus of not needing to pretend to be social and do the small talk thing all while minimising the chances of bumping in to teachers with news I don't want to hear 🤔:face_with_rolling_eyes:🤪

Re: Taking the plunge

Yea, I’m all for the avoidance with the car. @CheerBear . Small talk, standing in the cold, added possibility of unwanted news. Sunglasses to hide behind, yes, the lot.

If you go to the germ factory tonight, could you get a blood test done. Iron might be low. Mine was half what it was two years ago. Being vegetarian can be tricky.

Well the draw was sticking out @CheerBear . I thought I’ve fix it. It does go together anymore. 🤭🤭🤔🤔

I’m looking forward to some food. A junky night tonight. Potato chips to start with. I do this every now and then. Junk out.

Take care. Sending 💜💜💜😎😎😎

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie and all. I tried to bring coffee this morning but the forum was broken I think. Glad it's fixed now.

Wondering how the morning has been? Lotsa ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

I thought everyone was sleeping in @CheerBear . I really hoped you were. ❤️❤️❤️

Did you get to the germ factory last night?

How are you feeling today?

My inspection has just happened. I might have to remover my security screen door. Beggar. They want locks changed so they have assess at all times. $350 each door. The door cost me nothing, so I’m not about to fork out $350 for a lock. She might be able to swing it, but she might not also.

Anyway, I have an affordable roof over my head. I’m trying to keep things in perspective.

It’s a beautiful day weather wise. ☀️☀️☀️☀️

I need a coffee right now. Are you up for one. ☕️☕️☕️🌈🌈🌈

Re: Taking the plunge

Hey @Maggie. So good to see you ❤

Serious ugh with the door and I hope you don't have to pay anything for them to change it!

I got to the germ factory this morning after not going to my gig and feeling very unwell in the wee hours. Doc thinks it's flu and then flu activate asthma on top. I was given big hitting meds for my asthma and a warning about leaving it and watching it. It explains the incredible tiredness.

I was snuggled up in bed and got a call to pick up one with a fall and take them for an x-ray. They're calm and iced right now so I have enough time to quickly post a fly by hi but will run out the door again. Need two of me.

Catchya later ❤

@CheerBear Flu and asthma activated is big time ugh. Lots of 💙💙💙

Sorry you missed your gig today.

Hope the crew member with the fall is ok @CheerBear . You might both be snuggled up together this afternoon. 🛌🛌

Take care. 💙💙💙
