Re: Taking the plunge
I guessed as much @CheerBear . Your crew are your world, you must have a good feel about this relationship to introduce them to each other, and other family. It’s still tricky I know, but it’s moving ahead. ❤️❤️❤️
Today is a case of surviving the storm I think. Bunker down and wait it out.
When you need distractions the most, you can’t handle them. Twisted brains can be very annoying, very often.
I’m going to head to the shower. Lots of 💜💜💜 for today.

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi and good morning @Maggie @CheerBear @Faith-and-Hope I really hope today goes as ok as it can for you all. You all have so much big stuff going on atm.
I'm away from Tues til Friday week and will turn off my notifications while gone. Will be thinking of you all and hoping things start and continue to progress in the right direction for all of you.
Big step @CheerBear with family intro. And moving - I take it they are moving in too. Hope this goes as well as possible and that head over heels continues.
Wishing I could sit with you and be a sounding ear and a shoulder to lean on @Maggie . It doesn't feel like it right now but I have faith you will get through this and come out stronger for it. But back to getting through each hour or even 10 minutes for now. Self-care activities to soothe your mind and heart. Take good care xx
@Faith-and-Hope glad to hear you still have your church community. Hope going there is good for you today. Stay strong my friend, I think you're doing an amazing job of getting through what's happening. I am hearing you go from strength to strength.
Hi to you too @TheVorticon I'm around for a while this morning if you want to talk. Just tag me on your thread or find me on A long rave
Really glad you all have each other to lean on.
Much love xx

Re: Taking the plunge
That's reassuring @CheerBear I was a little concerned about the timing. Just my humble opinion, but I feel it's much better to maintain our own space to be unto ourselves and our dependents for quite some time when in a new(ish) relationship. And for the other party to not jump from one situation to the other but also have some time unto themself in between. Glad to hear that it's still going well for you despite the tricky bits.

Good morning ☕️☕️☕️☕️ @CheerBear .
I’m guessing you are back at house 1 because of school etc. I hope yesterday was a good one in your world. I hope today is a good one. ❤️💜💙💛💚
@eth Thank you. 💜💜I will get through this, it’s a time thing I think. Letting things settle and making changes where I can.
Thinking of you as you prepare for your holiday. Meeting up with friends, ( old and new ) sounds exciting. Enjoy. ❤️💛💙💜💚
Nice to see you @Former-Member ☕️☕️❤️❤️💙
@TheVorticon @Faith-and-Hope @outlander @Gazza75 👋👋❤️❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge
Yep house 1 now, with company overnight (there's a dodgy something going on with his move that delayed it until today). Another 'thing' (deal maybe) as a he person hasn't stayed here or with me while the crew have been home before. Strange, unknown territory there - lots of thinking and questioning whether I am doing an OK thing, how I could be doing this better, whats right etc.
How are you going this morning? And how was the rest of your yesterday?

Re: Taking the plunge
It’s so hard to navigate stuff that’s all new @CheerBear . If only hindsight could be foresight, things would be a lot easier. I can well imagine the questions racing through your mind. The crew bring in a whole new level of tricky. Lots of 💜💜💜
I found some colour @CheerBear. Did a canvas. I’m not particularly happy with it , but the effort itself has to count. Big time struggling, afraid of bumping into person outside. Tricky. In my head I’m packing again. It’s unsettled so much. Confusing on many levels, but I knew it all along. I just didn’t expect this outcome.
I’m going to a prayer meeting at 6.30 this morning. It’s just this week. Pushing to make any helpful effort, hoping it ends up worth it and not another disappointment.

Re: Taking the plunge
I have awful pms at the moment too. My body is hurting and my mind and enotions are all over the place. It's really not helping anything.
Massive effort with the canvas and colour especially given it's been such a dark and twisted up time.
I didn't even think about the fear of bumping in to person outside (no idea why that slipped my mind). That fear would be huge and very limiting. Add in thoughts of packing (which is so understandable and exactly where my head would jump too), and big time far out. Very much hearing and seeing that struggle for you 🙁 Do you think speaking with the people in blue will help ease that fear in a way?
Prayer meeting is also big.
Big breaths with you Maggie, and lots of ❤
