Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry to hear yesterday was so hard for you @Maggie ..... hoping too that in some way the re-opening of an old wound under different circumstances can contribute even a little bit towards its healing .....

I wish I could squeeze a quiet brekky in for you @Faith-and-Hope . Hungry and early, the day will hopefully improve for you. ❤️💜💙💛💚

Re: Taking the plunge

Yep tricky @Maggie. Today is getting ready for camp for one. Company will be with us for most of the day also I think, and perhaps into the evening.

I'm sorry yesterday was so tough and dark. 🙁 Anger is so understandable but tough to have with you on your own under your rock.

I'm also sorry that old wound was opened. The kind of experience you had and are having can do that 🙁 Did you write it down to share with counsellor? Listening if you'd like to talk about it but understand you may not.

Are you thinking of heading to church this morning?

Sorry you're up earlier than you'd like @Faith-and-Hope. Virtual tea sent to you to have in bed

Re: Taking the plunge

Yes @CheerBear , written it down to share with counsellor.

No, not heading to church today. Can’t face that, and I can’t find a smile. I’ll stay under my rock for a bit longer.......forever.😩😩😩

Company is sounding very hopeful @CheerBear. Family introduction usually indicates it’s serious. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

One going to camp will be excited. My ex and I worked at a kids camp for some years in NZ. Some great fun, also some sad kids. Some I wanted to keep. ( kids ).

catch up with you a bit later in the day maybe ..... I am heading to church with D2 this morning while I am feeling I can - other days not ....

Take care .... 💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Self-care in not going today maybe @Maggie. It's a good idea to stay within what feels even a little OK (or at least not as far from OK as elsewhere does). I hear you with the rock. Lots of love for that.

NZ camp experiences sound awesome. I can imagine how much warmth you had to give ❤

I think company is serious. I don't know. I wouldn't be introducing them into our little life like this if I didn't have a feeling it was OK to. It went really well.

Camp kid is excited but stressed as they also have a whole lot of homework to do between now and tomorrow morning. Stoked they're going as they were very unsure.

Hugs for your awfully hard situation @Faith-and-Hope. Not much else I can say but my thoughts and love are being sent in buckets.
