Re: Taking the plunge
Sometimes it's a woman who is abusive too, not only men. We just don't hear about it as much. @Owlunar @Maggie

Re: Taking the plunge
You're right @eth
I saw something on TV about that in the last couple of weeks - and I was horrified about how injured this man was and he stayed because he was worried about what his girlfriend would to their children if he left until he reached a stage where he couldn't leave - physically
I was horrified - and thanks for reminding us - men are not always the bad person in a relationship

Abuse happens in same-sex and transgender relationships commonly too. @Owlunar @Maggie

Dropping off early ☕️☕️☕️☕️ @CheerBear . I hope the mowing and humidity didn’t cause too much discomfort yesterday. 💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @CheerBear no 2 going down shortly.
Yesterday was a bit of a write off.
How are the lawns looking this morning, though it’s too dark to see atm. Did you get a soft drink from non English speaking neighbors.?

Was it OK to have yesterday a write off @Maggie?
Lawn is OK thanks, trimmed at least, but not as neat as I'd usually do. I did get my softdrink less than 5 minutes after posting about it here 😊
We went to family's house last night (I'm listening to a rooster at the moment) with a sib and a sib-in-law. I took company this time which was massive. He stayed over also. I had a bit of an open-ish conversation with Big about it all yesterday before we went which went really well.

Re: Taking the plunge
Wow @CheerBear big steps there. Sounds like it’s going ok ish enough.
Tricky with so many others involved.
Is today looking good for you?
Yesterday was a really tough dark day. I had moments ( lots of them ) of anger, then ,in what seemed like minutes, in the depth of the darkest places again.
Unfortunately, I felt anger towards everyone. Then I realised an old wound had been opened. One that was far from healed.
Not sure what today holds. It’s just slogging it out I guess.
