Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I haven’t got to the colour, eating licorice instead. S### happens. 😩😩😩
Counsellor and I talked through everything. She’s making a appointment, as they will take a statement when we do a drop off. Didn’t want to just turn up and possibly have to wait.
How did shopping go ?. Is there a comfy bed , plus essentials?
Crew pick up I think. 👋👋💙💙

@eth Thanks so much. It’s tricky stuff to deal with, trickier to get out of, and almost impossible to believe someone can be this downright self obsessed. My mother was NPD, plus mental health issues never diagnosed. I just keep getting trapped.
Appreciate your support. Thankyou.

@Faith-and-Hope Thanks for dropping by. I know you have lots going on atm.
I’ve read many of your enlightened posts, with a familiar chill running down my spine and through my veins. I’m feeling I’ve lived with fear my whole life. The fact that these people ‘ spot’ you/me is scary and concerning. I do know without my counsellor, I would never have survived this far. I’m ashamed of my fear, and the way I cover up for, and make excuses, even now. I seriously question if I have intelligence at all. But the roots of NPD is to destroy, tear down and belittle. Mission achieved.
I’ll find some colour and rocks eventually. I think I found the tiniest fragment of self respect on Monday. Now I know it’s there, who knows.
Lots of these @Faith-and-Hope 💜💙💚❤️💛

Making an appt to go in sounds like a good idea. How are you doing after talking through it all with counsellor? Have you had more messages from the person you don't want to hear from?
Shopping didn't happen. Not a great day here today but it's the rollercoaster of it.
Round two of afternoon pick up in a sec, then we can chill a bit.
❤ to all

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear It felt awful talking about it, and worse once counsellor left and doubts rolled in thick and fast.
A very flat day, sounding a lot like yours I think. Roller coaster rides are no fun from this perspective. I’m really sorry.
Round two pick up and chill sounds good for a Friday night. ❤️❤️ For it all

Re: Taking the plunge
I was wondering, and only if you feel like sharing, whether there's part of this that might miss the person. There would be for me I think. And then whether that's adding stuff to the stuff.
Do you have a day and time to drop off the statement?
It's a bit twisty here Maggie. Annoying how quickly OK can be shaken up and annoying how often it's more than one thing that hits at a time. I'm sure you understand that.
