Re: Taking the plunge

lol I can only imagine what your list after research would look like 😆 @CheerBear
yeah we quite like chocolate but we done have it in huge amounts so we don't go crazy. just few but with a gift as well like a slime kit or maybe a gift card or something that can actually be used.

yeah health is a hard one. I know one thing can wait till the gp appt cause think she may want to do some scans as suggested by my dentist (she thinks theres more going on then what meets the eye in my head and neck). I think the other thing which im thinking may have something to do with the new contraception might not be able to as I cant sleep on my side still due to the huge amount of pressure in my pelvis happening plus other symptoms but wont go into it. had to go the home dr the other day because I wasn't handling the pain-was making me throw up due to pain. its not as bad now but don't really know how serious it is either doesn't feel like an ed sort of case now though so will just try to hold off till Monday. and.... that was quite a ramble sorry..

umm mac and cheese with a side of mushrooms 🤔🤨 that a new one and considering they don't like them and thinks they have an intolerance 😏 gotta love kids don't you, they can be quite strange lol.

chill with a movie sounds like a good idea till pick up time esp with sleep being more tricky then usual

Re: Taking the plunge

No need for sorry for rambles @outlander 🙂 That pain sounds awful. I hope your Dr listens and responds properly. From my understanding and experience, while science says certain things about the side effects of hormonal contraceptives, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that says other stuff. I look at the pros and cons as there are a number of them for me. It's not worth it to me for cycle-based issues but is worth it for the contraceptive factor, but every person is different. I'm off to my GP next week also and then will probably take (drag) myself off to have another done and see how well I tolerate the side effects (which is rarely well).

Super annoying and I'm sorry you're dealing with it all at the moment. Yep, strange for sure. I'm not complaining about their dinner choice though as I looooove mushrooms 😁

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie ,

I'm doing pretty well. Making some progess in some areas and struggling with other things. Bit of deja vu. Hectic with work as I've been travelling a little more than usual.

I've been chipping away at a 120x80 diamond painting, nearly completed the 2nd row, probably 4 or 5 to go. It feels bigger than that with the additional canvas around the border. I haven't made a start on my jellyfish as it was to hot out at my farm and I didn't really feel like working on it.

Thanks for the message. Hoping your scan goes well tomorrow. I won't be around till tomorrow, duty is calling ughghg

Aloha and good wishes

@CheerBear @Former-Member , @eth @outlander @Zoe7 and anyone passing through

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @outlander

It has been months now that you have been battling with the after-effects of your operations - wow - that is a long time to be enduring such things - I hope you GP can get her eyes onto something that will help with whatever doesn't meet the eyes - I know the nerves in you jaw are affected by wisdom tooth surgery - I had something similar a long time ago - it did go away - I hope something useful happens in your case.

Have you seen anyway in pain management - I know there will be a vacancy in the clinic where I used to go when I get around to letting them know I have gone elsewhere - but alas - that's not where you live - but if there is one vacancy somewhere then it has to follow that there must be others elsewhere - I hope you find some help soon

But you are looking obviously - but feeling so much pain that you throw up is not at all good

Still thinking of you

Dec

Re: Taking the plunge

thanks @Owlunar hopefully itll get better in time but I don't have many hopes. I don't have much luck in my life so don't really ever hold my breath, more just try to deal with it each day as it comes.
thinking of you too

Re: Taking the plunge

So much cake left over @Maggie, though we had a number of bigs and littles over this afternoon to share it with us, which was an unexpected surprise 😊

I had a very random, huge highlight today that I have been busting to share, which made me think of you and @Gazza75 - I was given a new pair of ridiculously out there 8 ups for my feet 😁 These ones are perhaps even more 'far out' than my sparkles, which I didn't think was possible. They're mermaid 😍💙. I was so taken aback (in a lovely way) by it. The person who gave them to me had sneakily found my size so they're a perfect fit too. Im feeling very lucky (and bouncy in them 😁).

That's an early appointment for you tomorrow @Maggie. Do you have someone to go with you to it?

@Gazza75 nice to see you. 120 x 80 sounds huge! How long do you think it will take?

👋 to everyone who might come by. Hope there's been some good in your days ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

More ‘ far out’ than sparkles @CheerBear, I didn’t think that was possible either. I’m a bit/ a lot green :money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face: 😍😍😍😍with envy. I know you will enjoy them, as will everyone who sees them. 👍👍

It must have been a big cake @CheerBear . Left overs tomorrow 😍😍

Yes @CheerBear an early start. I will go on my own, it shouldn’t take long. It’s for my broken nose. It’s been broken now for 3 years, waiting to get it fixed.

I rang the specialist clinic to see where I was up to on the LIST. Still category 3. So I contacted the department of health with a healthy complaint. They sent me back to my Dr. the scan is hopefully, more evidence my nose is urgent, considering all the stress and discomfort being caused by it. It shouldn’t be this hard to get medical assistance. We shouldn’t have to fight for basic necessary care. Sorry about the rave.

I hope you have a lovely evening, and the special one today feels ultra special. 💚💚💚

@Gazza75 That is a big one, but you’ve done a few large diamond painting now.

Did you have any success with the clay?? It might not be called that, I’ve forgotten the actual name of something you were doing that looked very interesting.

I hope your evening is going ok. More travelling could be a pain. 🚖🚘
