Re: Taking the plunge
Far out with the person's person 😔 It's so, so not OK for you to have to deal with this. An AVO is a big deal to face. Are you feeling safe (silly question maybe)?
I'm so sorry this is happening. You don't deserve it 😔
Wanna make some cake? We can both loathe the kitchen, watch the ferals playing with slime, and eat smarties while we smoosh buttercream everywhere (that's where I am at with the cake at the moment after no time to think about it earlier).

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @CheerBear let’s mess up that kitchen. 😍😍😍🎂🎂
Slime, smarties and smoothing buttercream sounds perfect.
Yes an AVO is a big deal, but these ladies lie, they are lying about this whole thing. That makes it unsafe. I’m hoping against hope, it doesn’t come to that, but it’s really not looking good. I won’t do it lightly, but it’s where advise about this is heading. Scary. They are doing a guilt trip which isn’t working. I’m not guilty, I know that.
There were no witnesses, just two dogs.
Anyway, let’s mess the kitchen and eat cake.

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks and hugs @outlander 💙 Two here were dancing around to JoJo Siwa as your tag came through. It made me remember the JoJo bow stage your sister and one of mine (and 65 bazillion other kids) went through 😁🎀 I hope there has been some OK in your day.
Again, super sorry about the big-ness @Maggie. An AVO sounds like it might help with safety. How disgusting for you that it's come to even thinking about that 😔
Mess was very much made in this kitchen. And bits of cake cuttings were rolled up and sneakily eaten. It turned out OK, albeit a bit lopsided and kind of failed-it style 😉 Two funfetti layers, 3 marble rainbow layers, smarties hiding in the centre and the whole thing iced white with funky sprinkles - a little ambitious perhaps haha 😆 They'll enjoy it I'm sure. And it was fun to play with (kind of, until I got over it and wanted to throw it 😜).
I hope there's some calm or rest in your evening. Wish I could make this better for you, but here cheering you on, knowing you've got it in you to make it to a better time yourself.
❤🌈💜🌈💙🌈

Re: Taking the plunge
Morning everyone
@outlander it's not a craze here anymore but sometimes huge bows come out 🙂 They're still bonkers about slime here which is kind of cool as they play together (two of them) and create all kinds of interesting things.
@Maggie thinking of you this morning, wondering how you're going. Quiet sitting if it's helpful.
Hi and hugs @Former-Member @eth @Gazza75 and all
Coffee ❤
Hope there's some good in your day

Re: Taking the plunge
I do like that coffee pic @CheerBear .
The cake sounded amazing, and ambitious. I’ve never done anything like that, apart from watched it done on tv. That in itself was exhausting.
Still hoping the AVO won’t happen. I will drop off my account of happenings to the police. Then, take it from there.
All way too much to even contemplate, but I’m doing plenty of that.
How was gig yesterday?

Re: Taking the plunge
Cake day today so we'll see how wonky it is when it's cut. When I look back over my life, this day a number of years ago would be one of my favourite days. The way this day played out was the single most empowering thing I've ever done and in such a beautiful, calm way. Plus I walked away with the chunkiest creature who I've loved every moment since (who was born fighting, funny, strong and completely awesome). Always feel a bit emotional on this date ❤
Gig was fab yesterday thanks. I had one of those working-with-someone moments which I really 'felt' and that filled me up with reasons I do this and want to do more of this. I heard the difference we can make just by being present and caring 😊
Are you going to the police today? Even the thought of that makes me shudder. You're strong Maggie, even if it doesn't feel like it right now, and brave. I completely understand the contemplating. I'd be doing a lot of it myself.
