Re: Taking the plunge

🙁 I'm sorry to hear about yesterday @Maggie. Was it an out of the blue something that happened? Stumbling and chaos aren't fun at all 🙁

How did furbaby go at the vet?

Yesterday for me turned out well enough thanks. Middle's long time friend is here for a couple of nights. That's always a treat as their family are the only pre big bang friends for our family left.

Today is busy. Haircut, new MH worker (with 4 kids here :face_with_rolling_eyes:), sibling back after being away for 2 weeks, beach later. And because I am scatter brained I also have a public transport ride first thing this morning to the road place to renew my licence that expired yesterday and I forgot to renew 😑

Out of the blue @CheerBear . But it’s more the fact that I’m not in touch with myself to spot it before it turns chaotic.

The vet went ok. She hates it, but the walk there and back was good, before it got too hot.

Pre Big Bang people would be so special. They would understand and be a tiny connection, but not too connecting, to before the BIG.

Will this his new MH person help with the tribunal....trying to avoid the word.....but....be supportive there also. I know it’s humorous big stuff.

Wow, a busy day. Sib returning I hope is positive, but I guess it could be a mixed bag of ‘ normal and ok’ at home.

Yey for public transport rides and forgotten renewing important stuff. I’m being sarcastic, but understanding how frustrating it all is for you.

Beach later might be fun. I hope it’s nit too hot🕶☀️☀️⛱⛱

Re: Taking the plunge

That self-directed yuck which can follow something that happens out of the blue is tricky @Maggie. It's like a double blow that way. Once for the thing itself then again for the feelings after 🙁 I'm interested in hearing more about it if you'd like to share but understand if you don't.

How did you spend the grey and black time yesterday?

The family we saw yesterday are super special to us. It used to hurt lots as it was a reminder of may other lost people but now that pain doesn't get in the way too much (mostly). They're quite close in location to our old home (still safe distance away) so to get to them we drive around the outskirts of where we lived. It's like an invisible barrier I can't cross, between then and now. That sucks sometimes.

As far as the MH worker goes, if the allocation process had gone through quicker as I asked/begged it to in December, then she would have been able to help with the hearing, but I am thinking it will be too late to organise now. Today is just intake paperwork and a meet each other thing, though she works at the break place so we have already met.

Beach should be good. Expecting about 30°, though cooler by the water, which is nice. It will hopefully get out some of their energy!

Re: Taking the plunge

I think I play these ok games with myself @CheerBear then reality hits home. It’s a silly ok normal to myself, along with the rest of the world I think. It’s hard facing the real stuff. Denial, though a cop out, can be an escape, even though it’s not really. Twisted stuff, but coping mechanisms that don’t really work, or not long term anyway.

I listened to some music. I have 4 special songs that have helped for a long time. Then did a bit of soul searching.

I hate, how much stuff from back there, affects the right now, living. I wish I could just put the past in the past. But it’s right here.

Special family, and invisible barriers, that’s really hard @CheerBear . I’m so pleased you have them in your life.

MH worker from the break, that is good. I think you said you got on ok enough with this person???? Sorry there no support for the tribunal. Sucks.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hugs @Maggie. I hear you and am with you. Reality hitting is super hard 🙁 That past being here in the present is the reason when there seems to be no real reason for the chaos. It doesn't make it better or easier but it is understandable. I wish there was something that could make it better though for all of us who have pasts that stuff with the present.

This MH worker and I got along well. She's young but listened and took time to step in when I was there. I appreciated that and hope it was a good start to working with her.

I better get a move on and wake some sleeping kids for a public transport adventure. Seriously kicking myself with my licence 😑 I have to get a new photo done which is why I couldn't pay it online. Only bonus there is that my new sparkle (piercing) has healed well and will now be on my licence for years (even if I decide to take it out) 😁😆

I really hope there is some good in your day today ❤ Music and coffee maybe. Big love ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

How was your yesterday @CheerBear.? You have your psych this morning if I remember correctly.

Was the beach hot? Did the crew use up some energy?
