@outlander Our city is covered with smoke. I presume from the mainland. I’m about to check out the fire situation in tassie. I can only imagine what it’s like for you in the thick of it all.

I hope your viewing is helping with anxiety. I found some mosaic tiles on eBay. Hope they are ok.

Take care of yourself @outlander Thinking of you. 💛💛💛💛

Dropping off a very earl coffee @CheerBear ☕️☕️☕️. I hope home 1 is going ok ish. Holidays are tough going, so I’m hoping you are getting rest periods here and there.

I’m heading for a second cup. ☕️☕️💙💙💙

@outlander I hope you got through yesterday ok enough. 💜💜

I read about your struggles with pop. All so tough. I’m sorry. I don’t know if you are aware of the My aged care package deal. Though I imagine you are. So I won’t ramble on. Take care where you can. 💛💛💛💛

@Former-Member I haven’t seen you around for a few days and wondering if you are doing ok. Leaving a nice hot cup of tea for you on the back veranda. Sending 💙💙💙

@Appleblossom @eth @Gazza75 👋👋👋👋💜💜💜💜 and anyone passing.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning everyone ❤

Thanks for the cuppa @Maggie. Home 1 is good thanks 🙂 An extra here last night with Big' s friend, but one less with Middle out for the night. Kid juggling!

I watched three kids including one pretty young one, discuss global warming, our Prime Minister's response to it all, and work out how to help people in the middle of the fires. Thought of you, wishing I could have shared it with you. There's hope I think.

How are you going today and how was your yesterday?

Bog ❤ to.you @outlander and hopes that you stayed safe yesterday and overnight.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I felt a deep aww, more awe, reading about three littles talking about helping in the fires. Out of the mouth of babes. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ There is hope, we need to hold that right now.

Kid juggling 👍👍👍💛💛💛💛

I sorted out my wardrobe yesterday @CheerBear. I literally threw things when I arrived, in all directions. Bit by bit things are landing in better places, and tidier. Found some mosaic tiles on eBay. Today might be quiet, just relax a little.

Hows today looking in your world?

Re: Taking the plunge

Does it feel good to have your wardrobe sorted and tidied @Maggie? It took me a while to get here sorted after the chaos of our rapid move. It was overwhelming to think about as I imagine it is and has been for you. Bit by bit sounds good.

Yay for tiles on eBay! What are you working on with your paver? Sounds like a jump from the fiddly tiny of the last mosaic of yours I saw!

My insides are urging me to get crafting but I can't find something I want to work on at the moment. Today might have a bit of hunting for something to do in it. I'm also reading a book which is exciting as I usually struggle with concentration when it comes to reading so maybe I'll do some more of that. Kids are enjoying down time at the moment which makes holidays a bit easier as they're not bored and asking to do too much 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I found some things I had forgotten I had. Put towels in a better place. Folded here and there. Now I have more room.

Definately overwhelming. I think I’m beginning to recover from that draining tiredness. I didn’t realise how tired I was, and still am.

I have two pavers for my garden @CheerBear . They are what I’m working on with the mosaic. Definitely bigger. The pavers are on my kitchen table, with mosaic tiles sitting on top. Not glued yet. Still playing with tiles.

Really good to hear you are reading again. Concentration is a big issue with MH, especially stressful times. It might be a sign things are improving in your world. I hope so. You have been to hell and back.

Inside and crafting @CheerBear 👍👍💜💜. I hope you find something challenging and enjoyable.

Downtime for the crew would be good. For you too I imagine. Being away from the “ ok/normal”. Time for you. Make the most of it.

Re: Taking the plunge

It's great to hear you're maybe slowly recovering from that draining tiredness @Maggie. It's difficult to see the toll huge things like you have been through have been taking while you're in the middle of feeling it, but once you start making it out the reality can set in. It has been massive for and on you 🙁 Some room, some organised spaces and time will help.

Super excited to imagine pavers for your garden! Bringing more colour to your world and some Maggie to your little piece of green - big yay for that! Are you enjoying working on it?

I have another big and exciting thing I am thinking of, which is part of why I needed to test myself with the books. I'm thinking (and not far off) applying for study. My new MH worker returns from holidays soon and the first thing I want to do is talk with her about whether I can actually do this at the moment and put plans in place for how. Finishing a book is a good start 🙂

I found "altered pages", kind of like a journal or drawing book using an old book. I'm researching that at the moment as it looks fun.

Some drops of rain just passed by. Not enough at all, but it was nice for a momwnt.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I felt a huge WOW, thinking of you going back to studies. I know you have wanted to do that for a long time now. I can see why reading is so important atm. 💜💜💜 Go you. 👍👍👍 You can do this, just gently goes it. ❤️❤️❤️

I will have to look up “ altered pages”, but it sounds different and challenging. I can’t get a picture in my head yet, but looking forward to finding out more about what you might be doing.

Yes, the tiredness @CheerBear. Strange to be unaware of how tired you actually are. And the fact that you don’t know the depths of where you’ve been, til you start coming out of it. Part of the pushing, plus, there’s no one else to do it anyway, so there really is no other way or choice. Just keep going.

I’m hoping for big change this year. But it’s a slow process, and I don’t do slow well at all. I’m learning though......the hard way.....as usual.

A few drops of rain👍👍👍 I hope more follows.
