Re: Taking the plunge
@Appleblossom The gift that keeps on giving is my sarcastic take on shame. 😩😩
Your thoughts are interesting, and many of the same issues I am facing. My shame, or that what belongs to others , how on earth do you possibly know the difference?
From my rigid religious background, now breaking from brainwashing, it becomes a massive jumbled mess of hit and miss. I do still duck when testing the waters, but test anyway.
Trying not to throw the baby out with the bath water, kind of thing. Holding to a spark of faith for the moment, have been for a while.
Shyness, embarrassment, poverty. Each would be a discussion topic I think.
Thanks @Appleblossom always appreciate hearing your thoughts. 💛💛💛

Faith in something seems better than despair and/or cynicism.

Good morning @Maggie ... cuppa would be nice thanks. Going to be a hot day here the next two. I think even there in Tassie as well? Hi there @CheerBear @Appleblossom @outlander . I know you have turned off your notifications while you are on holidays @eth , so you likely wont get this. But I am thinking of you.
Have a good day everyone.

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks @Former-Member . Cuppa looks good.
Yes, tassie is hitting the high temps. I think part of our state will be 40, I’ve never seen that down this way, so interesting to see if it happens.
I’ve not long returned from a walk with my girl. We are not far from the river, so we will be enjoying some morning walks and sunrises. I also cut my grass, lol, with hand clippers. It’s a very small patch.
I hope you arm injury is healing. I imagine it’s very sore.
Looks like it’s time to turn up the air con, and hot this heatwave ends soon.
Take care @Former-Member . 💛💛💛💛

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @Maggie my hand is nowhere near as sore as it had been. The bruising has subsided and the deep graze is slowly healing. Off to the gym soon to attend my morning pilates class. Wow .. that is hot for Tassie! Ohhh nice ... I love that you are close enough to the river to walk there. I do love water. And well done cutting your grass. This is your newly laid lawn I presume? Means its growing nicely I suppose. Keep the water up to it in this hot weather. Yes I think an inside day today in the air conditioning is a must. Stay cool.
