Re: Taking the plunge
So good to hear you painted yesterday. It's a skill to bring colour where there isn't any and you do that so well. I haven't been to craft corner for a while so I have missed pics if you've shared. Interested in seeing if you'd like to (and will have a look at the corner later in case you've shared there).
Thanks @Former-Member ❤ That's super helpful. With everything that's going on for me, I'm teetering on going crazy with questioning whether I'm going crazy. Part of it is wondering if I'm imagining things. Silly how little stuff can set it off 😔 Thinking of you lots.
My kids woke up to their magic. They do what they do well and were silly and fun and happy. Carols and chocolate (lots of chocolate). It was ginger bread houses this day last year. I was sitting under the lemon tree contemplating whether to swallow the hardest pill I've ever swallowed (metaphorically and literally). It was the big decision I made day today. Feels OK to be OK with that today.
Heading to a shower with determination to get through another day. One more day until I'll know what's going on this week.
Big ❤

Big feels with the ( big decision) day @CheerBear . Memories are powerful and sad, and happy.
I know now how little things set off big things @CheerBear If OK isn’t OK, that’s OK too.
Magic, silly, fun and happy kids, that made me smile.
Enjoy your shower.
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞for tomorrow .
I haven’t put any pics on craft corner @CheerBear I haven’t done crafts for what seems like ages. Wonder if when you go to respite, you might share the addiction. 💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge
Good morning @CheerBear @Maggie @Former-Member I was up earlier while you were all here but didn't put my computer on. Sorry to hear that the big stuff going on for you all is continuing.
Nice to hear you got into your rock painting yesterday Maggie. I totally understand how now that you have made the leap and moved to a new place, you are struggling with putting some light back in your life. It's no wonder you're exhausted after all the effort and challenges to find and get to your new place. Plus adjusting to all the new can be very draining too. Be gentle with yourself. Shame about needing a mask with your 'kind of' friend - that would take some extra energy too. It's so much better when we can be our authentic self with another, but all too rare (in my life too).
Cheerbear I didn't know you had some respite possibly coming up. I really hope that falls into place smoothly for you and is the kind of break you need, restful and rejuvenating. You've carried a heavy load for so long supporting so many others. Time to step back and refill your cup, so to speak. As they say, we can't keep giving from an empty cup.
Sherry hope today is one of the better ones for you. And that you've had some of the gentle rain we've had here all night. Hope you can find some 'me time' in your day today. Also, I'd be sending that email if I were you. Just bear in mind they may not see it til tomorrow morning. Also hope you get the result you desire from doing so.
Love to you all xx ☕💖💖
PS Cheerbear I've been trying to use the windows emojis but can't find several that you all use (and many others I know are in there somewhere) Wondering if you have any more tips on how to use them. TIA

Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie I like this one 😈 haha 😉 I hope it goes OK. Caring and interested folk here with and for you 💜
@eth my psych called for catt. I got tripped up trying to find a break that can't happen and we both know I need it. I stopped being able to think about how and where and he stepped up/in. Ideally it would be at a prevention kind of supported service like it has been in the past, but that's not looking like an option this time. I'll have an assessment tomorrow and maybe know more then. It's super tricky for me because of the kids and quite a lack of support there. Family who struggle to get it. It is what it is though.
Hmmm, not sure how to help with your emojis sorry. 99% of my foruming is on my phone. Emoji updates are my favourite 😆
Hope your day has started well eth.
@Former-Member 💜 just cos.

Re: Taking the plunge
Hey @CheerBear I can well imagine how hard it could be to arrange everything so that you can have a break, whether at preventative respite or other possibility ( does that mean a hospital stay? - you don't have to answer if you don't want to). I hope you are able to be totally candid for your assessment tomorrow and that solutions appear re what your children need so you can have the break you might need. Do you still have sibling living with you? Are they an option to care for the kids? You've been soldiering on for so long (which I totally admire) but perhaps a break will bring back your resilience and refresh you. Really hoping a plan comes to light that works for all of you. Loads of love for you here. ❤❤❤
