Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I’m hoping you leave the fundraiser, but I understand if you go.

Magic stuff with the crew sounds like a nice time together.

My yesterday was ‘ exhaustion ‘ hit. AGAIN Very little got done here.

I’m feeling very much like the skittles in a bowling ally atm. Every time I get up, there’s another ball( or two ) Heading 100 mph in my direction. Those ally’s leave nowhere to run. Perfect aim.

It’s not new territory for me, frustrating, as I hoped to be further along the ‘ journey’ by now. Hard not to feel disappointed in myself, regardless of circumstances.

I replied but think I've either lost a post or posted somewhere I didn't mean to @Maggie. Hmmm. Did you get a tag notification?

@Former-Member any chance my post has been pulled (accidentally or not)?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Your post has disappeared.????? Oh no, one of those days already.

I’ll try to remember bits. A bit extreme, was a familiar feeling. Sometimes ( for me ), when things eventually catch up, I can be surprised by the ‘ extreme ness, and the reality mixed in and around. I think I try to’overlook’ the obvious, hoping it will leave of its own accord. Of course it never does. I can also get overwhelmed by my own overwhelmed.

Pushing through comes with a cost, but often there is no other way. Independent streaks can be tricky, but when there’s never been any ‘ dependables’ In life, where’s the choice.

My day will be quiet. Kind of friend will come, so I’ll hunt out some super thick masks. Non were available yesterday, so there’s improvement today. Thankful for small mercies.

Cheerbear - is this the posting you think has gone missing? Marchhare (moderator)

Morning all 👋

Hugs @Sherry. @Maggie said what I was thinking too. It sounds like it's really hard at the moment which is super understandable and I too am thinking she'd want to know. I get that "should I shouldn't I" feelings and how difficult it can be to make that decision. More hugs.

Notifications tell me you were up super early again @Maggie. Was it a coffee at ridiculous o'clock kind of night?

Yesterday did go well thanks. Much better than it has in the past.

Today is looking OK I think. Magic stuff here this morning which the crew are excited about. Fundraiser later but only if I can as a couple of teachers have stepped in so I don't have to (super thankful). Cold here too and rain about also. Wonky weather :face_with_rolling_eyes:

How about your day?

Looks like a gobble gobble day @CheerBear

Re: Taking the plunge

Missing posts can send me in to a spin 😐 I'm pretty sure there was nothing against the guidelines in it and hoping if there was I'll hear via email soon. Glad you saw it or I would have started thinking I'd imagined replying.

Overwhelmed by your overwhelm. Like worrying about worrying. And being sad for being sad. Things bounce. They pile up and have layers and layers. It's messy and yucky. Pushing through is a catch 22. It's helpful until it's not and then it can be really not. I have a feeling you're very skilled at pushing through (you too @Former-Member) and it's really really tiring. What other choice is there though, as you know. 🙁

I felt a bit sad thinking of you having to hunt for some masks.

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks for getting back here @marchhare. My post was about being a knocked over skittle I think. I'm sure I actually pushed post. It doesn't matter. Helpful that you saw it too @Maggie. I know I'm not seeing or imagining things that way (silly sounding probably but important to me).

Re: Taking the plunge

It’s easier to find a mask with kind of friend @CheerBear She doesn’t get it, or doesn’t want to. That being said, I rarely, tried once, tell her how I am. She’s not interested. I’m ok with that, I have to be. It will only be for a few hrs, I can do that, then collapse.

I painted a few stones yesterday. I brought my paints, under the rock I was going to stay under forever, just in case. I needed colour, other than black. 💜💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

I definitely saw it @CheerBear . When I went to reply, the screen went reddish and told me I wasn’t allowed there. Now I’m thinking I made it disappear. Yep, it’s one of THOSE days already. Where’s my rock. 🥴🥴🥴

Re: Taking the plunge

I saw that post too @CheerBear , and nothing there that would warrant amendment. I would copy and paste from my notifications, but unfortunately have since deleted it. Not your imagination. 😀
