Re: Taking the plunge
Super frustrating to have another inspection after getting ready for the last one only for it not to happen. You're doing well to be at "shrug shoulder" stage. I think I'd be at "set fire" stage 😉
Challenging, yes. The face to face appt went well last week but we had a brief phone call that didn't feel good to me at all at the end of last week. If he can meet me where I'm at not where he wants me to be at, it'll be fine. If not it will be difficult. We'll see.
I have very blue hands from food colouring. I kind of look alien-like. Pretty funny.
I better head out for a bit to do the lunch thing and help Big work out how to travel to school with cupcakes. They did a great job with them and are feeling pretty proud this morning 😊
Hope today has some good in it for you however you end up spending it ❤

@CheerBear The ‘ set fire’ stage is fast approaching. 🔥🔥🔥 My wits end is past, but trying to contain the volcanic eruptions. I keep telling myself it won’t be for much longer, that could be hope still pushing through, or ........ truthfully..... scared of my reaction if it was to fall out. 🤞🤞🤞
I hope the support worker meets you where you are at, instead of having his agenda. Sending 💜💜
Cool blue hand look ⬇️⬇️
Same.......Hope today has some good in it for you. 💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
I have a feeling of worker thinking they can 'fix' it in a 6 week goals focused, outcomes based program thingy. It's not going to work for me. I need no fixing. Goals are a trigger. Outcomes based feels like a box ticking exercise for others to feel good about the work they're doing. Yeah nah... 😉 There was also an ouchies "look on the bright side" comment I am trying so hard to let go of (and failing at doing). I'll try to find words that aren't frozen or fireballish to work out what could work instead. It's all a bit easier when people just get it though :face_with_rolling_eyes:
You found blue hands 😂💙
👋😊☕

Re: Taking the plunge
Ouchies .....look on the bright side, chin up, pull your socks up, send a red flag out for me every time @CheerBear .🙃🙃 And ‘ fix you’ just splats my planet, not to mention my brain. I can’t do goals either. I fail before I begin, freeze I think. A sure failure scene for me, you too by the sound of it.
But I do think it’s a tick the boxes, job done, look at me, feel good, kind of approach. Another one bites the dust. 😩😁
Sometimes I think they forget who the whole thing us supposed to be helping. What is helping?
I hope it works better than you expect. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
I’ve just returned from a mailbox check. I noticed a permanent seat on the grass just across from where I walk. I wondered how we are supposed to access that seat with contact with the grass.🤔🤔🤔
💜☕️👍👋👋👋

Re: Taking the plunge
Today is a counselling appointment. This afternoon we (kids, sibling, friend and her kids, and I) are all heading out to a street party/festival thing for Halloween. I've never done Halloween before and have been really quite anti it (or anti kids randomly knocking on people's doors) but the council is putting this on and it looks like a fun community thing so we'll give it a go. Kids super excited 🙂
How about you? How was your yesterday?

Oh no @CheerBear out of coffee. OMG. I wish I could filter one through the screen. 💕☕️💕☕️
I hope the counselling app goes ok ish. I’m with you on the hallowe’en thingie. But the one you are going to sounds safe. Hope you all have fun, lots of it, and bring a coffee. 😁
My yesterday was awful for all sorts of small, but actually big reasons. I was planning on buying a tent, still tempted, seriously tempted. The week end could see me pitching. 😩😩
But I sat for sometime watching a mother sparrow feeding her baby. The baby was the same size as mum, but they were just beautiful with mashed potato all over their beaks. A small moment, but a precious one.
Dont know how today will go. I’m not doing an early tree drop, I can’t be bother with games.
Tomorrow another meeting. They ok ed the last one, so this is a follow up.
