Re: Taking the plunge

Got myself caught up in feeding time at the zoo @Maggie :face_with_rolling_eyes: You're not a pest ever, but I get the questioning of self that can happen.

Sparkle was so fun 😊 Within about 20 seconds of arriving today they were noticed and appreciated for their awesomeness 😁😊 Genuinely had you with me in that moment as I have many times I've smiled at them ❤

Sounds like you've had wonky day maybe, with some good in the not so good. Kids when you're not feeling up to it isn't fun and I can feel the relief there. Really liked the sound of once a year friend. Is she someone you can talk about the toughness with, or is it a silent kind of understanding?

My evening is looking a bit quieter now which is good as I'm really tired. It's been crackers as Big and I have been baking in the tiny kitchen in the heat. Halloween has hit us this year. It's something I've never wanted to do and have been very resistant to, but Big has a thing at school and Halloweenish cupcakes were required.

Shortly (once I've finished supervising icing and skull candies 😏) I'll have a cool down shower and then some Netflix with adult company before we both crash. Sibling has the kids on a point based system working at earning some $. I'll let them all work that out while I sit back giggling wondering how long it will last and how much my kids will take it and run with it 😆

Please pat furbaby for me ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I knew it was feeding time at the zoo, bath time etc. never any pressure to reply, only when you can/want to. 💕

First things first, kettles boiled ready for coffee.☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ Sibling might have one ready for you, or, the other way around.

Big smile reading about the sparkly appreciation. Those boots are brings joy to lots of us, you are spreading sparkle and smiles. 🤩🤩🤩

Once a year friend is a silent understanding with a bit extra, if that makes sense. She turns 40 next week and feels ancient. ( eye roll ). We always say we should do this more often, but never do.

I also have one other obce a year friend who cones every Christmas Eve with a great book for a pressy. Same is said but we never do.

@CheerBear A small hot kitchen, Halloween, cupcakes, icing and skull candles, after a busy day. I hope the cool shower, Netflix and adult company went well. Plus, a good nights sleep, 💜💜

Point based system will bri g more giggles I imagine.

I have another flat inspection next week. 🤬🤬🤬 Enough said.

Today will happen. No plans, but hope not to have any.

Hows your day looking???

@Gazza75 Hi there. Sorry things are tough atm.

Just a question to think about. Have you had your thyroid checked? Sometimes that can be the cause of weight not moving.

Thinking of you sending 💕💕💕☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie and also @CheerBear @Shaz51 @outlander @eth etc.

Morning cuppa needed here too, so kettle is on.

Been a couple of bad bushfires around here the past few days. No danger where I am, but emergency evacuations for residents some 20mins drive to our South on the weekend. And yesterday another fire a half hour drive to our North jumped containment lines causing more evacuations. Not good, and weather conditions bad with gusty winds. We have been blanketed in thick smoke haze for a week now. Even getting ash and embers blowing in. Yuk. Some rain would be nice, but nothing on the horizon.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member That sounds awful. Ash and embers so close would be concerning, plus smoke smells. Sorry you have this on top of everything else. 💕💕

Heading for a second ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ help yourself.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie, @Former-Member and anyone who might be up ❤

@Former-Memberbushfires are so scary 🙁 Adding another stress/worry etc to things for you. Not good at all and thoughts and ❤ being sent to you.

@Maggie Coffee - needed as always. I had kettle boiled for sibling and a brief bump into them before they headed off. Silent understanding with friends is special and important. Good feels thinking of you having moments of that. It may almost balance some of the kind of friend company maybe, I'm not sure.

Flat inspection gave me shudders 🙁 It feels like only very recently that you had your last. How often are they?

A plan free day sounds good 👍 I have a new and incredibly interesting but full on support worker today. A little bit of work for my gig to sit and do if I have time too. It's fun work 🙂

I had to hunt for my glasses this morning. That's always a good game to play before coffee 😆

Early tree visit?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Tree visit ✔️✔️✔️ There’s a seat blocking the path now. Silent battles, gotta love um. 👍👍

The last flat inspection was 2 mths ago, but the manager forgot to turn up. 👍👍👍🤬🤬

So now we have a second one. I won’t be preparing much, it’s clean and untidy, I live here, I paint etc, so, shrugging shoulders now.

Full on interesting support worker sounds.......challenging..... to me.

Glasses hunting first up @CheerBear 👍👍👍
