So, sooo glad I have my gig. It's been the best thing to happen in the last couple of years for me I think 🙂 Thank you for always being encouraging of it and interested. It makes a difference 💕

Re: Taking the plunge
I get the colour thing @CheerBear mine is the craziest combination, almost embarrassing 😁😁😁 actually......very embarrassing to be honest. I just couldn’t get the hook in my hand fast enough, and my brain went in every direction looking for wool. I don’t cope with too many choices.......obviously 😁😁😁
I know life has been, and still is very hard for you @CheerBear anything that can make it easier or at least bearable, is so worth it. Your gig sounds just like that. They are lucky to have you on board, and I think they know it.
I second that @Former-Member good to see you. 😍😍

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks for always getting it Maggie. Big, scary day tomorrow. Life could get tougher from there. Or it could be great as far as results go too. It's such a rollercoaster, but it is what it is. The unknown and the waiting is head mash.
Morning to you also @Zoe7
I better get my butt off this step and into the shower. I'm heading back to home 2 after my gig and there's a bit to organise.
Great to catch you all. ❤ for the day ahead.

My very best wishes to you also @CheerBear Such a difficult time for you but you always amaze me with your resilience and drive - even when you do not feel it yourself. Much love to you CB and goodluck for both today and tomorrow ![]()
@Maggie Haven't been sleeping properly for days - up and down all night so another early morning it is. Planning on starting the big garage clean up today. The next 3 days are supposed to be nice here and it will take me 3 days to do - I do have a plan ...today to get everything out of the garage - tomorrow to sort, pack/stack everything and throw out what needs to be from things damaged in the last flood or things that can go to the tip shop - then Thursday to move everything back into the garage in an orderly fashion. It will be great to have it all finally done.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Zoe7 I hope your plans fall into place with the garage. It will be good once done, more room to fill with more stuff. 👍👍👍 Good weather here also, a 25 later this week.
Sorry about your sleepless nights, it’s rough and really messes with moods big time, I hope you find a way through that before school holidays ends. Take care today. Try not to push too hard if you are tired. 💛💛💛🌻🌻

Re: Taking the plunge
I need to replace 3 storage boxes which have broken/squished lids in the spare room then I can use the boxes without lids in the garage @Maggie I'll head out to Kmart later to see if their boxes are strong enough to be able to be stacked on top of each other. Then I will be able to move some things from the spare room to the garage onto the shelves to store as well.
I don't have a pdoc appointment until after the holidays and can't get one because she doesn't work in the holidays - so have to wait until she is back to see her. I think we may need to increase one of my meds again - I am not on a very large dose so there is still a lot of room to go up and we have discussed doing that if the current dose is not working well. I seem to be able to get to sleep okay but wake several times during the night. Have spent a lot of time sleeping on the couch over the last few weeks as although the nightmares have decreased I still have flashbacks when I wake during the night.
It is supposed to be 25 here on Thursday as well so the plan is finish the garage and head to the beach in the afternoon with Toby. It has been a long time since we were last at the beach so I it is something I am looking forward to.
