Morning @CheerBear and anyone else. Coffee is served if you are up to having one.☕️☕️☕️☕️

I hope your gig today goes as well as usual, and your kid free night with cats was peaceful😁😁😁🌻🌻🌻

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie and a hi to everyone who might be calling by. I was just hitting the kettle for us all here as your post came through Maggie 😊❤

I've been awake since 3 which is definitely not the way I wanted to start my day. I didn't get up, hoping I would fall back asleep if I stayed in bed but instead my head just went round and round. Very annoying :face_with_rolling_eyes:😑

How are you going this morning and how was your yesterday?

Re: Taking the plunge

I’ve had one of those nights also @CheerBear round and round...then some more. What happens to our minds in the night hours. Yes annoying. I hope it doesn’t spoil your gig today.

Yesterday was ok. I didn’t do the cleaning or organising I planned. 😩😩😩

Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry you had one of those nights too @Maggie. Was there anything in particular that made that happen for you last night or was it the usual/the everythings? (Only if you'd like to share of course).

I hope it's OK with you that you didn't get the organising or cleaning done. I had to-do's for when I came home that didn't get done too. I ordered dinner to be delivered (I never do that!) and finished round 3 of Sophie with some furballs for company instead.

How's today looking for you?

Re: Taking the plunge

The straw that broke the camels back, if you know what I mean @CheerBear something supposedly small, brought the weight of everything tumbling in all directions.

Dinner delivered with Sophie and cats sounds just what the dr ordered @CheerBear

Today I’m going into my cave. I just can’t face anything else right now. Doona and fur baby, nothing else today, oh and coffee of course.😍😍😍

Are you looking forward to your gig today?

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh that sucks a lot @Maggie 🙁 I get how one (seemingly) small thing can send everything crashing down. A couple of years ago it was a broken door handle that tipped me over to the point of someone calling CATT on me. Out of alllll the things, it was that which did it. Listening if you'd like to share some more. But getting it either way.

Cave sounds like a good plan today. Especially with furbaby, Doona and coffee. Do you think something crafty will make an appearance in there too?

I am really looking forward to my gig today thanks. I was called away by well person to take unwell person to the ED early in to my shift last week so I'm looking forward to making up for that today (that making it up is my own thing, not something work would expect of me). Plus it gives me a sense of doing something 'good' and connecting with life beyond my family. All very helpful stuff.

@Former-Member, I noticed you are around too. Would you like a cuppa? I'm sure Maggie has a cup for you too and she makes the best cuppas ❤ OK if you're not up to it though.

Re: Taking the plunge

Big smile with the door handle @CheerBear not in an uncaring smile, a very much get it smile.

Not sure if any crafty stuff will happen in my cave today @CheerBear at the moment...... to be over dramatic and over the top completely.......I feel like nothing crafty will ever happen again. 😩😩😩😩...a bit like a two year old NO I won’t do it stuff, just not going with the adult look atm. 😁😁😁😁

The gig is sooooo good for you @CheerBear . Warm feels for you today, and big yey, go you.💜💛💜💕

@Former-Member ☕️☕️☕️☕️💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @CheerBear ... I"d love a cuppa. Thank you.

Hi dear @Maggie . I was amused reading your post yesterday about walking on the grass. Not only are you an activist with a heart and conscience .. But now we can add 'rebel'. Love it.
