Re: Taking the plunge

I had a feeling you'd understand it @Maggie. Life has conditioned me to be probably over the top with subtle shifts like that but again, like everything that some would say is unhelpful, it's been a very important and very helpful survival mechanism. Learning the difference between when it's helpful and when it's not is a big challenge now. I feel way worse when I ignore my instinct and something happens that shows me I should have listened to it. It's like I've been walked into a trap I should have seen coming maybe. I'm thinking you get that one also. Yay life and all its tricky 😑

Serious giggle at the grass police 😆:face_with_rolling_eyes: Big fan of you walking where you want (though I hope you don't get pulled up by management 😏).

I'm going to grab a ☕ to take away I think. Sophie is calling. I'm doing a round with three colour changes (three different strands being swapped and hidden). Setting myself a challenge with this!

I hope there is good in your day today Maggie ❤💕

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I’ve thought alot about what we are both saying regarding subtle shifts, survival mechanisms, here and now. I did ask my counsellor if I can trust my intuition today, if it still operates from (then). We are still working this, and many other things through. But one of my thoughts, take it or leave it, goes like this. An old valuable instrument, finely tuned, is played by a chosen few. They need to know how to handle and value it’s age and the fact it can never be replaced. I’m looking at it, kind of like this atm. Though my life might not be threatened now, my sanity might well be. Like I said, take it or leave it if it’s nonsense to you, I do understand that.

I hope Sophie is peaceful, and sincerely hope I haven’t distributed her peace. 💕💜💕💜

You're never going to disturb anything @Maggie 💗 I was thinking through this post while making teeny little flowers. What you said makes so much sense and is such a gentle way of thinking about something that needs gentle and sensitive.

( One of the teeny flowers stitched with feel good thoughts 💕🌸)

Hey @Gazza75. Nice to see you 🙂 Long weekend sounds good. We've just finished one, though it doesn't seem to make much difference to us personally with it falling on school holidays. Any plans for it for you?

Thanks @Maggie 😊💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @CheerBear ,

No real plans at this stage. Maybe catchup with a mate that was meant to come up to my farm last weekend. He's a bit unreliable at the best of times. Just nice to have a short week at work, I am struggling a bit with motivation at the moment. Wish I could take a long holiday, but, I don't have the leave.

Whats on the agenda for you and the clan today? 🙂

Morning @Maggie boots 🙂 Think I might have to print off your latest creations and pin them up at work. I don't have anything up in this office as I'm kind of sitting in someone elses spot.

Hi @Former-Member , really enjoyed seeing your tree frog. Are you happy with the way it turned out? Are you scoping out another project to do soon? My square owl is coming along slowlly, but, I think I am taken with the square drills now! 🙂

I'm real happy your raiders made it through to the final. I expect a big (green) turnout for the game on the weekend and really hoping they come away with the choccies! It was one of the best games of the year on the weekend, great crowd and atmosphere.

Hope you are doing ok and know that you are very valued and supported here.

Re: Taking the plunge

Definitely nice to have a short week when you're struggling a bit with motivation (at work by the sound of it?) @Gazza75. Sorry your mate is unreliable. That sounds annoying. I hope you enjoy the catch up with mate if he comes.

Today is a wintery inside day at our second home (I am bouncing between two homes at the moment). All three have devices and diamonds to play with and nerf stuff which is not my favourite but I like seeing them playing outside together so it's kind of OK. I'll crochet bits here and there then head to home 1 later this afternoon as I have my volunteer gig tomorrow. Kid free night for me 🎉! That used to mean go out but now means stay in with cats and tea and enjoy the peace and quiet. Full cat lady (and very OK with that) now 😉😆

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear, yep, I'm at work. It's a good gig really.

I'm used to the unreliable mate, he's always been like that. Good guy, but, drinks to much.

Sounds like a very nice day to be inside and cozy with your, cats, sanity, hooks and crochet bits. It's always nice to see what you and everyone else is working on 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

@Gazza75 Sorry motivation is low atm. It’s hard pushing up hill. I hope the long end is a good break, with relaxing time and other stuff mixed in.

I’m trying to get some cleaning, tidying done, not happening so far. 🤪🤪 But I’ve sprayed stones and other things, as we have a still warm day here.

Heading to look up some penterest things......😁😁😁😁

Hope the rest of your day goes fast and smooth. 💜💕☕️
