Re: Taking the plunge
How was your evening and how are you going this morning after your big day yesterday?

Re: Taking the plunge
Ha ha @CheerBear must have just pressed the button before you.
I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus....drained..... But I have good feels as well. I know there is nothing more I can do now , but wait some more. I know someone is trying on my behalf. That was all I was asking of the other MPs. Part of the big problem for me was being ignored. Even if their response was, we can’t help, that was at least acknowledgment I existed.
Are you in your first or second home? Any plans today.?
Big has a diamond painting....you won’t here much once that gets started. 💕💕💛🌻🌻🌻

Re: Taking the plunge
I'm at first home today with 2 of mine. We'll be returning to the second home later for a little family/friend gathering. I'm not really looking forward to it (except I'll get some very tiny newborn cuddles in) as it will ooze happy faces, probably from all of us 😏 I've been there with sick one throughout the week and I know they're struggling a lot but they'll try and seem OK and they play everything down big time for others. I also know of others current big struggles that they haven't shared with the rest of us. Everyone will be "fine" though which I get but I see and know how hard that can be when fine isn't real. I'm feeling for my family at the moment, lots.
How's your day looking? Is it a cave day today?

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear It’s really hard when you can see the fine face, and know nothing, or little, is fine at all. Knowing the need to face up, when face down is reality. Masks are hard, but society has trained us, or many of us, that most don’t really want to know the truth, or it’s just too hard. So hiding equals surviving, for many of us.
I’m feeling with you @CheerBear in the big family feels, and the helpless feels as well.
Newborn cuddles and yummy baby smells, all squishy warm fuzzies. Enjoy. 💜💕💜💕
Another drive for you later today. Hope you get some down time this weekend.
I think it will be a cave weekend. Today, my ‘ kind of friend’ will be sorting out some stuff for her friend and her mother, they have had a difficult time with previous tenants in her flat. All turned out awful, but it was going to happen, just a matter of when. But it’s a good distraction for today, otherwise I’d go over and over then press repeat.
Top up.☕️☕️

Cave weekend sounds good 💕 Are you helping kind of friend in the listening sort of way? You're a great friend Maggie ❤
Have you picked up any paint or yarn over the last couple of days?

Re: Taking the plunge
Raw can be both confronting and relieving @CheerBear Its so very risky to be NOT FINE. My little dog is my only witness to the real unfine ness. I know many/most would be scared, and that’s really what hides behind FINE. We both know that.😩😩
Your sibling must have know they were safe sharing those deep secrets with you @CheerBear that says so much about you.
Raw doesn’t scare me in others @CheerBear just myself. Might be how others see it too. Not wanting to be a burden, bring anyone down, spoil their day, etc, etc.
Yes, listening is all I can do there. It’s one of those explosive situations, that just keep on exploding. 😩😩😩
I haven’t done any craft stuff this week. Hope to take it into the cave this weekend though. I also have my neighbour sat and sun pm.

Re: Taking the plunge
🙁 for explosive situations. Listening is so helpful Maggie, especially the kind of listening that gets it, as your kind of listening does ❤
I hope there's some comfort in the cave with craft if you get to do some. I finished my Sophie centre a moment ago. I'll drop her off on craft corner before I chop her up and start again :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Your post led me to think more about fine ness, and all the ‘whys’ behind it.
Mine , like yours, helps me to keep on keeping on, and the feeling of, what can anyone do anyway. But past experiences do fuel the fire, no doubt in my mind there. Lack of understanding and judgement eats away at me. People can be cruel when understanding isn’t there. Control/coercion absolutely.
I’ve been a quiet observer most of my life. Talking things through over the years with my counsellor, is helping me find a voice, sometimes. Trust has huge roots in my life, or lack of it, and like you, few see the raw. She is the only person who has ever, and might well be the only one, who ever hears parts of my story/struggle/journey. I believe in the power of one very strongly. Secrets said once, are secrets shared, chains only need one breaking point to set prisoners free.
You are a special, deeply caring person @CheerBear . So much more that enough.
Looking forward to seeing Sophie centre. 😍😍😍
