Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear, I enjoy looking at the outcomes of your hooks and needles. Not sure I could do crochet, seems like some kind of magic to Me. I have done a little knitting when I was a wee tacker. Think I still remember the basic stitch my grandma and great aunty taught Me 🙂
Lap size sounds pretty good to Me 🙂 Think I'd struggle using the hook, I'd have to put some clay on it to make it more comfy lol 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear @Gazza75 It was a big meeting. Very big for me. I asked my counsellors partner to speak on my behalf, which she did amazingly. I added a few things, but not much, I’m not a communicator nor a talker, I listen better.
I felt it was successful, as he and his secretary really listened and discussed the problems I’m having, as things they have had to deal with for others also. They can’t promise anything will change, as the situation here is critical for many. They will ‘ pester’ their words, on my behalf, and asked me to do the same. Weekly visits to housing connect asking if there is anything on offer, which I will do, but it will be difficult. They see my fur baby a posing a problem, so I’m looking into getting her a ‘support dog ‘label. She already supports me emotionally, so deserves the label and recognition. That will solve any further queries from them. All a bit strange, as many in housing own dogs, just an excuse I believe, but I have it covered, or will soon.
I’m beyond exhaustion, but really feel I’ve taken a huge step forward, even if I didn’t see it coming, I didn’t expect to hear from them, nor have an appointment.
I hope your day has gone ok ish @CheerBear lots of these 💜💕💜💕🌻
@Gazza75 Thanks for being such a solid presence here, and around the forums, you are amazing, don’t forget that.💕💜💕💜
Hope your evening goes well.
