Re: Taking the plunge
I didnt really get much sleep after i said morning here but im up had my cup of tea, cleaned the bathroom, just need to fix up the animals and wipe over the kitchen benches and dishes from last night. Wait for pest control then im off for the drive. This ones to arrange a carer overnight foe tbe first night of op so thatll be one less thing to do and more peace of mind as the 2 big things that needed sorting will be done

Re: Taking the plunge
Morning everyone,
Have a safe drive @outlander , don't forget to have a rest or have a break from driving if you need to. I hope everything goes according to plan and you can relax a little and know most things are falling into place.
Tough decisions to make @Maggie 🙂 Maybe, one pink and one blue 😉 Have a good day and hope everything goes alright for you.
Have a good day @CheerBear.
Hi @Zoe7 , hope your week has gone okay so far. Not sure if you have made it to the beach or your going this weekend. Either way I hope you get your toes in the sand at some point. I love the beach and the ocean, something about the sea breeze and the air that is invigorating.
Hi @Former-Member , hope your long drive into town the other day went alright and your back didn't give you any trouble. I don't have a real bad back, but, its horrible when it plays up which happens occasionally. I've been thinking of you this week as your footy team has a big game on this week, I don't want to jinx them, but, I really hope they can go all the way. Fingers crossed everything is ok with your hub as well.
Ahoy shazza @Shaz51 , have a good day and try not to work to hard! 😉 Even thos magic bunnies need to recharge every now and then. Take care 🙂
@Faith-and-Hope, hope you have a good day.today. It's always nice to see you about the place 🙂
Miss @mumi, not sure if your following allong somehow, but, hope and your daughter are safe and well.

Re: Taking the plunge
@outlander, hopefully your passenger is on his best behaviour 🙂 I don't have to much on today. Working and then going shopping for a frame for my frog diamond painting. I managed to finish off starry nights which was a bit surprising, thought it would take me till next week. Pretty chuffed with how it turned out in the end.
Besides that I'll head out for a few walks around town. Its a nice spring day today 🙂 Looking at heading to my farm tomorrow so I have quite the drive ahead of me there. It's a fairly easy run and one I've done many many times now. I hope the traffic is okay when you are in the city.
Nice to hear back from you, wasn't sure if you were already on the road 🙂 I'm glad you like the TV show with your name. I think its one of the better ones that have come out the last few years. Really well made and a good story. I need to go back and watch the last season as I accidently missed a few episodes, I put in disc 2 instead of disc 1 ! Oops 🙂
Hope you have some rest time this afternoon and get to do some things for yourself.

@Maggie it's 11 (it's 11:11 actually - probably my favourite clock number) which has me thinking you might be out of your meeting now. I'm home for today with 2 of the little crew, about to sit and work on the start of my Sophie blanket in the sunshine for a while. Thinking of you, hoping it went well and that the post big thing feels are OK enough for you 💗

Re: Taking the plunge
I'll put a picture up of it on Monday @CheerBear , don't want to 'spam' the thread to much lol 🙂 It was very satisfying to put in that final little dot/drill I can tell you! 🙂
Hope you have a good day with your crafting and crew 🙂
Thinking of you @Maggie and hoping everything went well with your meeting. 🙂 ![]()

It was very good to set the last one. I also mashed the (40,000+) bits down with a little rolling pin as well. It's the first one I have done where some of them seemed to be popping out. I started a smaller owl this morning, it has square drills/bits which is a first for me, seems a bit slower and more diffucult so far.
What size blanket are you going to make? I really like the colours I've been noticing on the thread 🙂 I did a google on the sophie thing and looks like a lot of variations, look forward to seeing what you cook up!! 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge
I'm not sure what size this blanket will be as it's cotton which I don't use and a 2.5mm hook which is little for me with something like a blanket. The mandala ones I did were queen sized bed sized. I'm thinking this will be more lap sized but I could be way wrong.
The colour combos people use with these are awesome and they all look so different depending on what you choose 🙂
(Am I tempting you to pick up a hook yet? 😉😆)
Noticed a tag for craft corner. Heading there now 😊
