Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Cleaning has been a big stress buster for me in the past, not so easy now though, more frustrating than anything. But yes, always good to have it done, till next time. 😕😕
@CheerBear I like colourful shoes 🙃🙃🙃 My feet are the only colourful thing about me. 😁😁 Trackies and hoodies, black now, used to be blue/purple. So I’m looking at The flowery ones. 🙃🙃🙃😛 There really are a lot to look at, I searched eBay as the online shops only seemed to have brown/black. I did own a pair of the jelly ones some time back.
The bike ride sounds fun. I can well imagine holding your breath with little. Do you ride with them, might be a silly question. 🙃🙃🙃
I need to find some stones today. I need something beautiful to distract my mind.
Morning coffee under the tree.

@CheerBear My second is half done. I hope the sleep in, at 5:30 am, was good. 👀

Re: Taking the plunge
Sorry the cleaning was frustrating yesterday @Maggie. It would be hard to have things not be so easy I'm guessing with some of the pain you experience?
Biggest smile hearing you like the flower ones and have colourful feet. I love that! I hope you find a pair of flowers on your feet sometime. I'm eyeing off Pascal glitter in rainbow or the glitter flame ones, but I don't think it will happen as they stopped selling them a while ago.
I ride with the crew when we go out 😊 I have love the feeling I get riding. I feel big, strong and fast. When I'm with them I enjoy chasing Little and cruising with the others. We might try and make a day of it and ride to the city over the holidays. Wear them out a bit 😆
Stone hunting sounds good, as does beautiful to distract the mind. Anything else ahead for you today?

Re: Taking the plunge
I will head out and walk the dogs with a friend this arvo @CheerBear . Are you away tonight.? If yes, you might get some painting done.
I saw the glitter/flame ones, very nice. Hope you get some soon, your old ones sound worn out.
I used to ride a ten speed, many years ago. Do they still exist. I like the freedom, wind through my hair, didn’t wear helmets back then.
Yes, the pain has stopped so much. No more guitar playing. I was never that good, but really enjoyed it. Basics are a struggle now, like getting the top off milk. 🤪🤪 I got so frustrated not long ago, I banged it on the bench, still finding milk stains on walls etc. 🙃🙃🙃 You only do that once.

Re: Taking the plunge
My body lets me down in a big way that I don't talk about, but I can move around freely. As I watch my unwell person become unable to do that I've started really appreciating that. I dash down stairs and feel thankful for working legs. I'll now open the milk today with hands that work and feel thankful for that too. I'm sorry that even basics are a struggle 🙁 That really, really sucks. As does milk on the wall 😖:face_with_rolling_eyes:
Dog walking with a friend sounds great. My plans for today changed late yesterday when a friend called for help. Her little was called in to hospital today only yesterday. I will now have a four year old buddy for the day and will pick up her five year old from school with mine. They'll be here until later tonight. Friend is a stretchy, tricky word for me since the big bang took mine away, but this person is a friend and I feel honoured she asked me and very glad I can do something to help. Plus my little four year old friend is ridiculously adorable and always brightens my day with big run and jump at me hugs.
Time to nudge big out of bed and start getting ready for the day. I hope you find some stones and some distraction. So, so good to start my day under that tree 💜🌸

Good Morning @CheerBear @Maggie @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Former-Member @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope and anyone else passing through. Hope you all have a nice day today. 🙂 ![]()
Enjoy catching up with things here.
Maggie, you could always try and dot paint your own doc martens. They would be super cool and original. I've never owned a pair of docs, but, always thought them about the coolest shoe out there 🙂
Have to keep this brief as work is calling ughgh
