Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Zoe7 she has a stone she wants to paint for her friend today, a door stop. She has her colours and pattern worked out. I have some canvas to gesso ,so can give her my full attention.

Sounds like you have rain? A bit grey here. Good luck with the cutting. Hope you can share a pic, but I get that you might not be able to for privacy reasons.

Re: Taking the plunge

No rain yet @Maggie It was intially forecast to be a sprinkle or two but it doesn't seem like that will eventuate. I am cutting the palings in the garage just to be safe though.

I'll share some pics when some of them are done - should be able to do that before the kids decorate them and that way they will be pretty generic.

Here's one I did with some kids at my old school...

Lovely @Zoe7 I might have a go at one when/if I move. I love having birds in my backyard. I’ve imported lots of sparrows here. Lol 😂😂😂

Re: Taking the plunge

That is one of the three designs the kids had to choose from @Maggie The second one is more like a box and the third is angle at the bottom as well as the top - luckily only a few people chose that last one as it takes the most time to cut.

Off now to get the saw set up - have a great day Hon

Hi @Zoe7 @Maggie @Former-Member @CheerBear @Shaz51 @Former-Member

Catching up on everything here. Spent morning trying to sort out my car. Have to get full replacement of light fittings and not just a globe. Ughgh pain in the butt.

Good news with the cricket, bit unbelievable.

@Shaz51, hope your mum is OK..

@mumi hope you are OK. Please check in when you can ♥️

@Maggie, hope your emails get through to people who can help you. Frustrated that you have to go through this, can only imagine how difficult it is for you. ♥️🌻☕

Have a good day everyone. Take care

Good work @Zoe7. Your birdhouse look great Very clever design and use of resources.

Car is booked in for Friday, earliest I could get. Not ideal, but that's life.

Day should be good, listening to football and doing some crafts.

Time.for a good.cuppa or refreshing drink. Glad to hear you are feeling better 😃🌻

Re: Taking the plunge

Bad news here too @Gazza75 @Former-Member - my saw just malfunctioned. I was never quite sure whether it got water damaged in the flood last year and was going to replace it eventually anyway - looks like a trip to Bunnings. I really can't afford a new saw right now so will have to put it on my credit card. Won't be paying my sister back for a while now - but she is okay with that. Might take Toby with me and getnhim a sausage for all the wonderful supervision work he has been doing with my today lol
