Sorry to hear about the lights @Gazza75 and the saw @Zoe7 . The bright spot being a trip to Bunnings and sausage reward for the supervisory staff. 🐶 Pardon the pun @Gazza75 but there aint too many bright spots at all with your car lights.
Had my own dramas here today. Discovered a water leak under the driveway this morning. Only a seep now, but watching it closely in case it becomes a water spout. 💧 Got a plumber coming in this arvo. Hope its not major. 😯

On the positive side my new saw is magical - it cuts like it is going through butter. I have finished all the straight and angle cuts on the two hardest ones - so 9 done altogether. The remaining 14 are mostly straight cuts so that should not take long either. Having a rest and catching up on the footy scores. It seems like your boys are in for a real fight this afternoon. Fingers crossed for you though Hon.

Toby got his sausage so he is a happy little puppy - we sat in the car as it was too windy to sit outside and mummy broke it all up so it could cool down. The little mite just sat and waited until I fed him - he is such a good little boy 🐶

What a good boy your Toby is @Zoe7. His reward sausage was much deserved. Fantastic that the new saw works so well, sounds as though it was well worth it.
Yes the Swannies are making hard work of it today. Too many 'passengers' I think, with some retiring players being given a farewell run. But they deserve it too I guess, ie Jack and McVeigh. Still hoping they can come away with a win. So far its been pretty ordinary footy though, which is a shame.
The plumber (actually a handyman/gardener with plumbing experience) has been and gone. Was a simple enough repair he said. Was busy, so he has been in and exposed the problem, repaired it and then left the big wet hole open to ensure no further leakage. He will come back on Tuesday arvo to check, fill in the hole and clear up. Payment then too. 😵 He's a nice chap though, and thinks Holly is lovely. And the feeling is mutual, in that Holly likes him too. He has done quite a bit of gardening work here for us several months ago, so they got to know each other quite well. She is very much into the supervisory role, like Toby, when there is work to be done.

Just came back in to see your boys ahead - great news for you @Former-Member 
@Maggie @Gazza75 All rooves and bases for the first 9 birdhouses done so they are ready to take into school for the kids to put together. I have started the remaining ones but think I'll have to give it up for today as I am really tired and my sinuses are hurting again.
I might have a shower and then get dinner ready early so I can rest for a while. Toby has had enough too - he is laying on the floor - can't even move himself to the couch lol

Gosh, so much happening today here for everyone. Palings almost done, sausage dog fed, @Zoe7 leak in garden fixed, @Former-Member how’s the lights going @Gazza75 My painting is done for today, meeting again tomorrow. My girl is a supervisor too, small and loud. Lol

We have all had things happening in our day @Maggie - and like you I have more to do tomorrow. I have had a shower so feel a little more human again 
Will feed my fur babies next then get dinner for myself. I am not really hungry tonight but need to keep up my energy to get rid of this cold - and do all the cutting tomorrow. Worn myself out today but I shouldn't need to go out tomorrow so plan on finishing about 2pm - have a shower and settle in for the footy in the afternoon. Going to do a little housework tonight and sort out some of my school work after I rest for a while.
How is your friend's rock looking? What did you paint today?

My friend is taking this rock very seriously @Zoe7 . It’s her first requested, and she wants it to be good. She has a free style of painting, I stick with a pattern, like mandala, I like the balance and organisation. The basic outline is done, so colour will be added tomorrow. I don’t do much when working with her. I can’t multi task at all, so she has my full attention. She’s rubbing her hands with delight. You can’t help but get caught up in her enthusiasm.
You do need that break. Enjoy you meal and telly, not far behind you, getting ready once I post this. Hooe to catch you tomorrow. 💜💕💜☕️☕️☕️
