Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member
now is not the time for you to be there for all of us...
you are there for your daughter and yourself...none of us expect anymore..
there will be times when you are in a safer sounder situation where if you choose you can be there for us or others...
that is what this is all about..
trust me...took me along time to get my head around this..
I was an empath who believed I needed to be there for everyone no matter my own situation...
wrong...
I have been told time and time again...yes I am tenacious and stubborn..passionate...I can come up with every reason why...basically it took me up until this last twelve months would you believe..with my older son's diagnosis and an incredible journey that I have been on to realise....yes I do actually matter...despite...yes i say loud and clearly despite ...the fact that I have a very long history of mental illness which sadly keeps on being exacerbated...even recently by my family yesterday...so what have I realised.....I am important ...regardless of where the people who are affecting me fit in my life...
we both have a very significant person in our lives through this form of contact @Maggie
we have also met @Former-Member @Former-Member @Janey208 on this journey...
all of these people I know that I can speak for them are privileged to know you
lastly you do not owe us anything...you have already given far more than you can ever imagine..
just keep on being you
stay safe

Hi @Former-Member,
I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your daughter as you go through this incredibly difficult time.

And @Phoenix_Rising 😊
Have cried so much.
Funny thing is, I forgot about my toe, apart from hobbling and the pain .
Last night I remembered the doctor said that I severed the tendon. 😮
I've been so pre occupied with my daughter, I hadn't given much thought to my toe.
I re bandaged it today. It looks reasonable. 😂
Hope you're both ok. ❤

Hope you're ok.
Toe is fine @Former-Member 💗💟
I soaked it in salt water and bandaged it up.
Yes, looking after "me" too. Someone has to. 😂
Resting when I can and had sleep this afternoon. Taking anti anxiety meds for a while until I feel I can cope a bit better.
Had some bad news tonight. Trying to switch off to it. Someone close went to hospital. When does Iit all end. Gosh!
Hoping I will be able to read more messages soon.
I did notice that @Maggie isn't going well.
Big hug to you Maggie and sending love. 💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge
My dear @Former-Member you are not cast aside dismissed nor un noticed. You are very special to me and others here all over this forum. I read you have fallen and I'm so sorry to hear this, but know, just as you stand beside us, we are with you also. I was afraid after this last week something like this would happen, now it's getting back up somehow slowly. Those walks along the beach, and the dream house. Don't be too hard on yourself it's the journey we are on is all. This is the bond we have here, our deep sufferings. We hear each other and feel each other's pain. I'm feeling with you my sister, always in my heart, please believe this. Wending warm thoughts your way from a chilly Tassy.💓💓💓💔💔💔
