Re: Taking the plunge
Please @Maggie, dont be sorry. Just get better and I will welcome your return once you're ready. Please take care. And keep the best friend anyone can have, your little dog, by your side.

Re: Taking the plunge
hello @Maggie
so sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment..
you give so much to others on here..
I find myself that it helps me also in trying to be there when others are in much pain..
I know that you also feel for others passionately ....you know how hurtful families and society can be..
then our bodies..physical side sends us hints...hard sometimes tone guided by these when other things are on our mind..
I hope for you some relief from your struggle...some calm and peaceful maggie time
more hugs and sharing love with fur baby...
when you are able to..a little walk around your soul garden..
yes I often think of you as maggie may...
know that you are so very well thought of here.
no need to rush to reply..
savour your energy for healing..only for a short time..
we will all be waiting when you feel better and safe enough to return..
stay safe and take care lovely lady

Re: Taking the plunge
I seem to always come undone
Somehow work is never done
With another mountain here to climb
Can I make it one more time
Strengths run out
Tears so many losing count
Ground beneath my feet is gone
Cant hang on can't hang on
I feel I've fallen out of reach
Light is gone light is gone
How can I hang on.

Re: Taking the plunge
hello @Maggie
I coud not reply earlier because I had to try to find a resolution with my husband.
I had a dreadful day yesterday ...once again being controlled by my family...to the extent excluding my younger son on christmas day ( sister having christmas there as have always submitted to save peace...sister's son hardly sees or rings her..never goes on christmas day...so I will be penalised..)spoke to husband about situation...initially very supportive...then out came everything that he is struggling with about me...
after a very long talk instigated by myself we went out for lunch...all fine now
my point is that my mental illness I am either hiding from 99%of the people or trying to explain to those who I love...as in those who will listen...
my history of trauma pales in significance to you....my suffering is extreme ....
I want to hold you and hug you as I know how much it hurts to be abused..dismissed...rejected....blamed..many more things...
none of these will come close to what you have experienced and feel..
all that I have to offer you is ....compassion...caring...even these words sound hollow..
I can tell you how hard depression is...how hard trauma after trauma exacerbates depression and brings on major anxiety...these words do not come close to what you have experienced and feel...
maggie may you have come this far...we the people on here who have heard your story and read of some of your pain....grown to love you are not going to stand by and allow your to not hang on as you so poignantly expressed your despair.
@Former-Member @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope bella also ...we will let her come on board later.
not happening maggie may
you are a gift to this world ...one to be treasured....respected...nurture and definitely cared for...we are here and not going anywhere...
