@Former-Member I'm going to head out for a while. I know it can be super hard to do, but if you're scared there's 1800 RESPECT to call. They get it and can help.

Sending you lots of love ❤

My life is pretty f### up. My own fault though. Apart from all the abusers. Sorry. I should keep quiet

Re: Taking the plunge

It's alright @Former-Member . I learnt a lot about myself and life from the experience. It's all a matter of perspective, no matter how hard I was doing , I knew my brother was doing it a hell of a lot worse. I can only imagine what he went through for 9 months in getting out of hospital. I saw some of it and it was gut wrenching. His life is never going to be the same now. I still have my independance and whole life in front of Me.

He has to live with a woman I think is a despicable human being. I don't like to say bad things about anyone, but, I imagine if I treated her family like she did mine she'd be pretty unhappy about it as well. It's a bit of standoff between us where she won't forgive me and I feel pretty much the same way. I'm not sure what my brother thinks or knows, probably not all that much.

@Zoe7, it must be paradise after being in Sydney. I lived in the big smoke for a while, but, I found it hard as I'm more of a country boy. I found it tough going.

@Former-Member, no need to be quiet.. no one here is going to judge you or think poorly of you.. we're all battling our own demons.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member, hospital was pretty tough. I went in involuntarily so I had no personal stuff with Me, literally the clothes I had on and that was it. They took my phone so I didn't have music. The first few days was really hard.

Re: Taking the plunge

I 100% agree with @Gazza75 here @Former-Member We are here listening and supporting you so talk as much as you need Hon

@Gazza75 I lived out West and worked even further out so it was quite nice. I did like Sydney though and could have quite easily have stayed there but circumstances brought me home. My Nan had not been well either and died later in that year so it was a no-brainer for me at the time. I always intended to move away again but after the passing of both my grandparents I travelled instead then came back to do teaching and life just got in the way ...as it does and I have stayed since.
