Re: Taking the plunge

Ha ha @Former-Member ... Oh no, I dont dislike cats at all. I think I like all animals. But I am allergic to cat fur and have had to keep my distance from them since I was a little girl. But I did think it interesting to read that article about dogs assisting sleep. Where as, partners and cats rated equally bad as bed partners for sleep purposes. 😊 So yeah, give me a dog any day.

Mmmm yeah, good point @Former-Member . My hubby used to be a dreadful snorer, but when he lost a lot of weight when he was so unwell, he doesnt snore anywhere near as badly now. Holly, on the other hand, does snore. But somehow its kinda cute and sweet, as opposed to down-right annoying from hubby. 😵

I do believe a dog would be great to have @Former-Member

I don’t think I could handle the emotional side. If that makes sense. When they’re unwell etc. I looked into fostering a dog. Um I forget what they call it. But it was just for weekends and a super long drive to pick the dog up in busy traffic. Hm. D is super allergic to catd

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Former-Member ... thats sweet of you to ask. Yeah, I expect I'll be okay. Probably another sleepless night, but hey ... nothing new there. With some wild weather still around, I am hearing all sorts of bangs and knocks all around. Does not make for an easy night, but I expect the severe winds will drop off a bit during the night. Hope so anyway.
