Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Like everyone has said, we truly care and want to be here whenever. So good things have settled. I hope today travels smoothly, we are all here with and for you, not just in the bad times, but always.

@Zoe7 @Former-Member @Appleblossom Wishing you all a peaceful kind of day. @Zoe7 You sound like me, tucked up under the covers on the couch, though you are achieving a lot more. 💕💜💕☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

Only have 2 pompoms to finish @Maggie then a couple of smaller ones to do from scratch so slowly getting there. Watching The Block at the same time - mindless tv more on in the background lol

How was yours and little Mags trip to the tree - did she do what neededto be done? Yes snuggled under the doona seems like the perfect day for us both with the weather we are having.

Going to cook lunch for myself soon and then maybe have a nap before the footy comes on this afternoon - my eyeballs are floating around in various directions trying to stay focussed ...and finding it hard to not succumb to the eyelids closing

Re: Taking the plunge

I might join you in the afternoon nap @Zoe7 . Yes, little miss left her gift for me to pick up. She’s such a dear creature. I’m the only person on the planet she trusts, such a privilege to be given after the rough start she had. We are the envy of the village, she warms hearts from a distance. My pride and joy.

Enjoy the footy. 💕💜

Re: Taking the plunge

My little buddy is similar @Maggie but he would go with anyone - he is such a social butterfly lol He does not cope well away from me for long though ...unless he is with my sister - he really loves her

It is so wonderful you have her for both the company and love Hon - they are certainly our little shadows and give us so much joy. I used to think I was super lucky to have my little buddy but as my vet said - he is super lucky to have me too because he is so well looked after and loved ...just like you and little Mags

@Former-Member @Maggie @Zoe7

Much love to you all.

Quiet day here so far. Clothes up on line.

Hopefully rest later.

Hope your day goes ok.

Will pop back on every now and again.

Here for you all too. 🥰💖

Re: Taking the plunge

I need to do some washing too @Former-Member but no chance of it dryimg on the line this weekend so will have to do it in a couple of batches and put it on the clothes horse. Lucky it is warm enough inside to dry overnight.

Have had lunch and done another pompom - just one left to go of the nearly completed ones then can start on the smaller ones that the kids didn't get to. Going to leave those for a while though as I need a break from it.

Have you eaten today Hon?

We are all here for each other and that does matter sweet @Former-Member

Re: Taking the plunge

Sunny enough here to hang clothes outside, although they are undercover. It often rains when you’re not expecting it to. Lots of rain here for months. I’m just glad it’s not hot.

I have a clothes dryer for emergencies. Because sometimes the rain doesn’t stop for weeks. Impossible for clothes to dry then. They smell if I don’t put them in the dryer.

I had steak mash and veggies. Amazing lol.

Yes, have a break and a cuppa. Good idea. I just made a cup of tea.

@Zoe7

Thinking of you too @Maggie @Former-Member

I really feel like a sleep. But I don’t think I can switch off.

💜💖

Re: Taking the plunge

Just had a nap myself @Former-Member but it has made me feel worse Best now just to push through and make it an early night if I can. Watching footy and snuggled under the doona still with Toby snuggled next to me. Still haven't done any washing - really should get that sorted soon though

I love a nice meal like that - had chicken, potatoes in a tomato sauce for lunch - very filling and easy to cook ...might have had a little too much though as my tummy is a bit sore Hopefully it will settle soon.

How is D doing this afternoon?

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I walked to the shop to get a few supplies. It only takes half an hour round trip. It was ok weather wise. Washed dishes, that’s all for today. Can’t motivate myself for anything else. Steak mash and veg sounds good @Former-Member enjoy, hope you have some nice gravy?

@Zoe7 You sound like you need a break. I hope you get one this afternoon. I got a pigs ear when out, so lots of chewing happening here.

@Former-Member @Appleblossom And anyone passing, hope your Saturday is peaceful.

Re: Taking the plunge

Little Mags would be so happy with that @Maggie 🐶

You have done more than me today - really do need a break from it all this afternoon - been working almost constantly on the pompoms since last night. It is easy but time consuming. Don't think I'll be able to concentrate to do any planning tonight so will have to do it all tomorrow ...really didn't want to leave it until tomorrow but too tired now. My game is on in just over n hour so will relax more watching that.
