Re: Taking the plunge
@Zoe7 I just saw parts of the footy played in snow.!!!!! Though it’s cold in our areas, nothing like what’s happening Sydney/Melbourne areas.
No plans as yet, pleanty to do, just getting around to doing it.
Are you finishing off the pom-poms today? 💕💜

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @Maggie lots of pompom finishing off today and a few more to mske for the kids. I also need to cut out felt for arms, legs, eyes, etc. Somehow I need to work out a eay to make a shell for a hermit crab fo one of them - that might be a job for tomorrow though as my brain is not working very well this morning.
I am sure there was snow in the rain last night down here. It was so cold that even Toby didn't do his usual wander around the backyard - went out to the toilet and came straight back in
Cat even stayed in her cave and didn't go out either.
I understand that plenty to do Hon - much the same here but very tired after such a late night for me. I did get more than half the pompoms finished though so only a handful to do today.
Hope you get some things done across the day too Hon - take it a bit at a time and just do what you can ![]()

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @Zoe7 you too. Very cold here atm, I’m heading out with fur baby, not far, just to the tree out the front. No park today. Lol
Weary here today also.
Sounds like a lot to finish off. I’m sure the kids will appreciate all you do behind the scenes. Don’t you love spell check sometimes. 😂❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge
Have done another couple of pompoms this morning @Maggie Have the tv on and watching some things I recorded during the week as I do them - so it is actually quite relaxing. It is raining quite heavily here now so perfect weather for being snuggled on the couch doing pompoms ![]()
I am so glad I did all I needed to do shopping-wise on Thursday and yesterday - definitely would not want to be going out today. Stay warm on your short trip to the tree lol Give little Mags a cuddle from me too Hon - and one for yourself ![]()

Re: Taking the plunge
Thankyou so very much for being there for me last night @Maggie @Zoe7 @Former-Member I really appreciate it very much.
It meant a lot to me that you took the time to chat to me
I felt really bad that I couldn’t drive to get D. I didn’t know if she needed an ambulance or not. I got hold of her dad and he went and got her. It does get very scary. Because she doesn’t always let on how bad she feels. So scary for her.
Anyway. A new day.
I must admit, I had a chuckle when I read that I typed, I’ll shitup, instead of shut up 😂 My eyes get really blurry at times from sleep meds. It’s coming up to the time to have a break from them again 😫 and a break from prns 😳
Having a super strong expresso with crumpets with honey.
Again, thankyou thankyou thankyou.
I so wish I had friends like you in real life.

haha @Former-Member typos can often be funny and glad you had a chuckle at that one ![]()
So good you got someone to pick up D last night and that she is okay - that is such a relief. It must be very scary for you both ![]()
No thanks needed but very much appreciated Hon - here for you because we want to be and care for you. We may be just words on the screen but behind those words are real people that truly do care about our friends here - and you are one of those friends and very much loved for who you are ![]()

Re: Taking the plunge
Good to hear from you this morning @Former-Member , as well as hear that things have settled down a bit from yesterday. Glad to hear that D is okay, but yes it must be super scary for all of you when these things happen for her. Not something you ever really get used to I expect, but hopefully something you all learn to manage better, over time.
Super strong espresso (new coffee maker) along with crumpets sounds nice and comforting. Just what you need.
I too wish I had real life friends, like we have here. I guess we are all pretty special people, when you think about it that way.
Hope your day drifts gently and evenly. Hi also to @Maggie @Zoe7 @Appleblossom and others here.
Sherry 💕🌞🌸
