Re: Taking the plunge

I hope that made sense @Maggie @Former-Member @Former-Member
Not meaning I want my life to end, but wondering when I'll feel better. 😊💕
Although sometimes I wish I could just hop off the planet. 😮😀

@Former-Member

yes makes perfect sense....

days where you get up because that is what we have to do...

eat breakfast.....

think about need to go to shops....would like to go for walk...would like to get out in the garden...

energy low.....motivation zilch..

unusual churning in abdomen...chest area...

then the thought....is it bedtime yet... oh....still x number of hours to go...

dread...have to cook evening meal....love cooking...motivation energy level so low...what is easiest...quickest....

dishes.....

oh well at least getting closer to bed time...

hit the pillow....oh thank goodness.....toss and turn....can't sleep....even though have been so very tired all day....need to stop thoughts racing through mind...

anything like that?

adjusting medications and seeing a psychiatrist regularly has helped me....I have up down up down...

I do at least experience some ups before the downs...

only talk about what you feel comfortable with...

just feeling for you because I have suffered with the dreaded depression since a little girl on and off...

external stuff ...out of my control....hits hard and sends me plunging down...

anxiety then arrived on my door step after what is described as repeated episodes of chronic trauma..

I dont like labels though

take care of bella 3

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Sitting with you. You don't have to respond, just know you are not alone. I have just returned from a Drs app, while I was waiting for the care to pick me up, I noticed a couple of finch birds sitting by their nest. They flew of and up popped a little head, then flew off with mum and dad. Then by the side of the road while driving home were two magpies and six galahs. I'm glad to be home. Hope you are holding out ok and of course hubby. Sending warm thoughts your way.❣❣❣❣

Re: Taking the plunge

Dear Maggie,

I have just read your story from the start. What a brave lady you are. Love your profile name of Maggie too, it reminds me of a little dog a very dear lady I know has.

I'm really happy to see that you have the outlet of the Sane forums as a support. I too find them of benefit, although I have been absent from here for quite some time. I have recently returned due to some changed circumstances.

Actually it has been said to me recently that people think I am more than one personality. Perhaps I am, I dont know. Certainly I have not been assessed as such.

I hope I can get to know you a little better in time.

Sherry

Re: Taking the plunge

How was doctor's appointment? @Maggie
Do you have a cuppa out sometimes?
I find it a bit scarey having a cuppa out sometimes, but enjoy it on the occasions that I do. And lunch out sometimes .
I'm a bit fussy with what I eat though. The dreaded IBS. Tummy doesn't like certain foods. Makes eating out tricky and cooking. 😀
Well, I did try and sleep. Panic attacks again.
I worry about everything for nothing.
I worry that my daughter wants to go to schoolies @Former-Member Not sure whether to let her go. A group of friends are going to a resort. I like her to make her own decisions, now that she's older, but it's hard letting them go when the world and people in it seem so scarey, if that makes sense?
Having been attacked myself, it scares me so much. I feel so messed up and I think this is part of the reason. I want to cry, but can't, just a few tears come.
I'm terrified of letting her go. The world seems so cruel and scarey to me, but I know that I can't let my views affect her. She's different She's not a victim like I was.
Writing this is helping me see how messed up I still am inside.
I'm terrified she'll get hurt and I know I'm being silly. I'm not strong enough to cope with the intense emotions of being a mum. And I'm definitely not good at being married.
@Former-Member you explained it well, what it's like every day. I've struggled since I was very young also.
I hope that you don't mind me writing all this here @Maggie .
I feel so alone in the real world. I'm scared of trying again, because people can be so hurtful

Thinking of you @Former-Member at the doctor's appointment i hope that you and hubby are ok. 💟
I hope you @Maggie and @Former-Member find something nice in your day, treat yourselves to something nice.
💟💕
I'm going to make a good strong coffee.

☕🍰

Re: Taking the plunge

We chatted ages ago @Former-Member
Have you been ok? 💕
Silly question I guess.
How can one be ok with PTSD
Anyway, I hope you're coping as well as possible. I think you know what I mean.

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh @Former-Member we are here to listen and understand, don't feel afraid to write what you feel comfortable sharing. I can only imagine the fears you have for your daughter, someone you love more than life itself. I don't feel equipped for this world either @Former-Member.

The drs app went as good as can be expected. Trying more meds. I can't find any to help. No I don't have coffe out as I get so anxious just being out. Getting home to fur baby was all that keeps me going. I'm having a coffee myself atm.

Will you be able to walk along the beach @Former-Member or is it too hot up your way? I'm trying to get out and plant the plants I bought from Bunnings yesterday, still trying. Sending warm thoughts.💕💕
