@Former-Member Me too. The feeling everything part. I have a small garden tool that I can bang on the ground, it's been amazing for getting some of the feelings out. You will be a busy bee these next few days, I hope you get some rest in between and after THE day. Take care.

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Maggie, @Former-Member @Bunniekins @Former-Member.
Yes thats right Maggie, my little Holly will turn 9 on christmas day. I am okay, thanks for asking. Not so busy really, as we will be having Xmas at home with no visitors or anything this year. Although today I needed to do my grocery shopping - quite an experience at this time of year! Thank goodness its all done now.
I have been watching some of the T20 WBBL and BBL cricket this afternoon. Hubby likes that too, so we have the air conditioner on and enjoying the cool. We had a few cooler days after a really hot day on Wednesday. But the heat is back again today and tomorrow. Pleasant day expected for Christmas day however, and some rain most likely. That'll be nice.
Loved your work @Former-Member that you posted the pics of. You are so clever.
Gotta go ... will try to check in later.

It does mean a lot when someone thinks of us @Former-Member@Bunniekins - I am thinking of you both all the time! Love you lots ❤️
Thank you @Former-Member - I do have a passion for embroidery and cross stitch. I posted on facebook a cross stitch conversion that I stitched of an old army photo of my husband when he was 19 with his medals (can't post here because of identity). People did love it. He served in the Vietnam war - deactivating bomb explosives was his speciality (not up my alley lol). He fought front line. He likes the outcome which made me happy. He would of loved to of joined you and hubby in front of the Tele - he loves his cricket and footy. I stitch while he is watching. I sneak up to the shops when very late - I am not brave enough to face those crowds. You are doing well. Happy birthday to Holly 🎉. Good to read that you are doing okay 😊
The fabric is a very fine thread @Maggie - 32 ct. Even more difficult on hand dyed fabric 😳. My eye sight is good, but I have millennium frames and a stand that stretches it together with a magnifier/lamp. So am well set up for success lol. I am very keen...I do enjoy it. That is good it is only three pavers - that is heavy work my friend. Please take care whilst doing it. I was actually listening to the birds while I read your post. Lorikeets are filling the trees outside my window presently - so beautiful to watch.
You would of had a good laugh with me at my hubby here yesterday. We went for a early evening stroll in the park next to us (still light but cooler), and whilst walking hubby lost his daks 😵. His trousers dropped around his ankles and he is standing there in bright lime green undies haha 🤣😂🤣 The look on his face was priceless . Thankfully there was no passers by 😂 That will teach him to wear pants without a draw string lol. He is lean and has no butt to hold them up aha. He cracks me up.
I will leave on that note wishing you all a very happy and safe Christmas. It can be a hard time of the year, I do understand, but I wish you all moments of peace and good cheer. Cheers to a better New Year 🍷🎄

-Enigma- your poor hubby ... but I love the fact he is wearing bright green undies for Christmas!!! Hahahaha! I really do think you are incredibly clever with your stitching ... maybe I should do something like that... I would love to knit a scarf I am not sure what colour yet ... I will have to do somet thinking.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New year. Maggie Sherry and Bella3 I will be online over Chrissy so if you are feeling like company ... a bit low ... just give me a hoi!!! 😄 xx
