Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member Yes you are right on track, belonging/fitting nowhere. Though I'm in this place most of the time the intensity increases and coping skills fail. I have no idea how I'm still here today, but I am. Thankyou for understanding. Few words atm, it's a struggle just being.

Re: Taking the plunge
You are very kind, caring and understanding.
Only those who have experienced SA etc...... understand the turmoil.
Thankyou for being you.
It lessons the alone feeling knowing that you understand and you too @Maggie
Yes, Maggie, it is a hell hole.
I wish I could help.

Re: Taking the plunge
I think you are right. We are already living in that time of government and media trying to blind us.
God I hope someone wrote a book on how to get out of this mess. But I'm afraid most people are apathetic so can't be bothered to right wrongs or fight back.
I'll definitely try and get this book from the library next week.
I took my son into the big town today. He needed to buy presents for me and my mum and sister, & most importantly to him, for his girlfriend. $100 later of my money and he's done. This girlfriend is expensive. But it's his first girlfriend (he's 15) so he wants to do it 'right' (whatever that means).

Re: Taking the plunge
Daughter has gone off to a booze party 😮
Bit scary for me.
She's sensible, but still human.
At least she's got more sense than I did at her age.
Hard letting go, but have to, otherwise they tend to rebel.
