I feel...

I feel...

I feel desperately lonely yet, I feel like I don't belong anywhere. I don't belong in the 'Normal' world because I am tarred with the brush of mental ill health, yet because I've sort of stabilised now, I don't belong with my former peers either. I feel beige, uncoloured and boring with no emotion really even though if I had to say anything it is gutted. I feel trapped in a world I don't want and didn't ask for, yet whenever I try and break the shackles of failure, I am thrust back into the dark and reminded yet again of my failures (my Father is a constant person to remind me). I feel alone, even in a crowded room. I feel unheard, even if I am screaming loudly.

I guess I am just searching for something and not sure what.

Does anyone else feel beige?

Re: I feel...

Oh my dear @Queenie
You are surrounded by red flags and high voltage warning signs! It seems to me that you're in severe danger of a massive crash!

Please try to stop for a moment and think about what you need to do to stop yourself flying off in to full-blown mania. The higher you go the harder and further you'll fall. Please don't let yourself go so high that you fall over the edge and plunge in to the abyss of profound psychotic depression.

Just wondering if you may be beginning to experience a touch of a mixed episode. Please do your best to slow down and see your GP ASAP.

I care Queenie and I really don't want to see you suffer these extremes.

Luv n Hugzzz 💕🎶💕

Re: I feel...

@Queenie how are you this morning
Im glad to see you happy and enjoying life but like @Kurra i worry about the downfall.

Im wondering with your type of MI do you have cycles? Or is it just take it as it comes sort of thing?

Re: I feel...

I generally have cycles @outlander, @Kurra. I am probably overdue for a big blip (who knows?). I did manage to sleep for about 3hrs this afternoon after my shopping extravaganza. I'm still buzzing though. I see my psychiatrist next week so he'll probably read me like a book. I did stop mood stabilisers with his knowledge about 4 months ago, as they were putting far too much weight on me. I do feel calmer today than yesterday, but at the same time, I feel more irritable. Usually, irritability in me comes before a depression. I've cut back on the Coke Zero to 2 cans a day instead of 3 and only have them during the day, not at night.

My Mrs thinks it's kind of amusing seeing me less inhibited than usual. She thinks I am definitely headed for mania due to the lack of sleep overall. I've been itching to do things like go to the beach at 3am and stuff. She thinks I'm mad.

Re: I feel...

It's okay @Catcakes. I was tossing glitter about because I was covered in glitter from wrapping presents and decorating the house. Nothing bad, just throwing a bit of cheer around.

Not a soul @outlander.

It seems I truly am one (a ghost).
