Haha @Faith-and-Hope - mine are very good at making the effort to help so draining it isn't worth it! Mini targets and goals sound like a good idea ☺

Coffee and a green park sound lovely. Hope you enjoy it 💗

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@Former-Member 'Howdo you feel about the people being angry with you at the start?' ... sad I suppose ... sad and confused at the beginning now I kind of accept it. At the beginning I was so sick I didnt know what was happening now I look back I cannot understand why someon anyone didn't get me into hospital asap. I suppose the is the problem with mental illness it is invisible when compared to a broken leg or arm people just think that you are bunging it on when really you are raging mad lol.

I can imagine for your mother mi would have held alot more stigma than it does today. I know when my mother recently she had some surgery she came out of it severly depressed and it really shook her up she ended up talking to a psychiatrist for a couple of months. She hated beig sick and that was only a couple of months. She is fine now.

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

@BunniekinsI'm sorry that you had no one there at the beginning. You are right however, mental illness is invisible compared to a broken leg/arm. I often think that when I see me GP and how she would deal with me if it was a physical illness. I often think she doesn't believe me.

What you are doing for your son, looking after him, looking after his MI as well as yours, makes you a pretty amazing woman. I wish you had that at the start.

Have fun cleaning your son's room and have a good day!!

Re: RE: Darkness surrounds me

Agree @Bunniekins,one of the reasons I'm not getting "help" again, many times felt like a idiot or bunging it on.Many times wish I had a physical illness like the neighbor telling me to "suck it up", one of the reasons I don't bother talking to people because aI have lost faith in human socialisation and interaction which is full of intimidation and to boost the ego of idiots.
