@Sans911yeah nice for him! He did offer to stay home but I couldn't make him do that. Would have felt so bad being the reason he couldn't go, so my big girl pants are on for now!!
I can't really talk about it because it could identify who I am so will have to just have to try and ride out the feelings and hopefully they pass soon.

Got my sensory/coping box here too restocking it and changing a few things in it so hopefully that helps.

@Former-Member - I'm having a very low key kind of day. Pretty boring actually. I'm not going into the city to celebrate Australia Day or watch the fireworks. I can't stand the crowds. I used to like it but not now. Last year the fireworks were cancelled due to a plane crash on the river who were inexperienced flyers for the stunt required. I'm sure you heard about it. I was really irate as some people were more upset that the fireworks were cancelled then the fact two were people had lost their lives. Besides I'm in bed most nights by 8:30 or 9pm.
Good to hear you doing some self care. I don't use my coping box as much as I should.
I've mostly done some housework this morning. My house mate is home as her store is shut. She's got her headphones on and watching something in her room.
I'm in the lounge now trying to sort and tidy some electrical cords out. I have so many but I'm scared to throw some away as I don't know exactly what they're for.
So just pottering around the house is all I'm up to today. I'll need to go the supermarket soon; my house mate needs stuff soon also.

@Sans911yeah I do remember hearing about that last year. Sad that people passed away from it.
We havent got any plans today. Have got some food to cook on the BBQ later for the kids and I but thats it.
I use my coping box quite a bit, probably one of the first things I go too. But am thinking I might need to buy a bigger box!
Have been vaccuming this morning and did some washing, how exciting!! We have a box of cords like that too that don't know what they are for 
Just trying to stay cool in this heat and it is only going to get hotter the next few days.

@Former-Member it's hot here too. Haha vacuumed and washed here as well. I'm in the lounge room which has no fan or ac, so I'm escaping here in the next few minutes. We actually never use this room. I haven't watched TV in over 2years. I have a television but it's just decoration really.

@Sans911I made the kids vaccum their own rooms. I said if they whinge they could do the whole house!! Shame they didn't whinge 
Haha I love that, a tv for decoration purposes only. My tv is where I watch the Big Bang theory on and my other shows so on a lot!!
