Thanks @Bunniekins, I am okish. Went to GP to get more emergency meds. Got a talking too about taking too many at once. I actually said to her "you try living my life then".....did not go down well

Just needed a break from everything today so have just logged on.

@Former-Member Good on you standing up for yourself. I am not good at that. Not quick enough lol ... I just stand there say nothing and then walk out the door and on the way home I think of a great come back but alas too late ...

Good you could get some more medications.

I cannot complain am feeling very calm and 'pea'ceful .... calm before the storm!!! I hope not!!

I don't see pdoc till next week and knew I would need some this week. GP really has no clue. My psych suggested a GP to see and tried to get into her but she isn't taking on any more patients.

It is so hard to fine a good one, and all the good ones are full.

@Former-Member It is so true they either have their books closed or they retire or have a nervous breakdown!!

I am thinking of trying out the ones that visit you home next time I need one ... have you ever used any of them?

@BunniekinsI have used Doctor in the home for my son before but not for me. They were good but havent used them as a regular doctor

@Former-Member That is good to know. I might be forced into using one occassionaly as our gp well I think he had a bit of a health issue 😞 and has been gone for 6 months!!!!

No psychiatrist and no gp!!! ridiculous

I hope you managed some sleep last night @Former-Member and feeling better. I do feel for you - GPs just don't understand what we go through at times. Straight After my daughter attempted and was in IC before being scheduled, I went to see a new doc for a very mild sedative. He questioned it??? I could not believe someone would in these circumstances. Out of touch and nearly sent me in a spin. I too find it hard to find a good doctor here - near impossible. But will keep searching. With me moving around so much doesn't help either I suppose.

@outlander - hope you are feeling better today and are no longer sick.

I was going out today but both friends could not make it - so am going to catch up on my cross stitch and try and finish it. I am back to my volunteering next week and am looking forward to it as I miss the customers. Hopefully they feel the same.

morning @Former-Member some gps are really weary of medication prescribing while others just hand them out freely. i had a really good convo with Sans911 about it last night. alot i didnt know about and was quite interesting to learn. but thats abit off topic here. sorry your friends couldnt make it today but im glad you have plans to do some cross-stitching. what pattern/picture are you making this time? i cant wait to see the finished product!

im ok, still feeling abit off but its another rest day here. its raining and thankfully cooling everything off and its a good excuse to watch a movie or 2. i have my sisters for a few hrs today while mum gets her hair done. i figured the kids would get really bored as shes having it dyed so i said id watch them for the 2 hrs or so whilst shes getting it done.
