OK, I've decided to go right this morning and walk 15-20mins before turning back. The sun is high at 7am, nice and warm on my back.
We passed two lovely cafes, open already for tourists and locals. This is very much a holiday town. And we passed the shark net, and have gone past the main, long jetty. Right, we need to keep going. We're still on the path for now. But the beach is just on my left. The water is a greeny blue, sand is creamy with a tinge of grey

OK, now we're down on the beach proper. The water is pretty flat. Teeny, tiny waves lapping the shore. Sand is easy to walk on. A few people here and dogs. Some hardy swimmers

Sorry everyone we have to turn around. Fans are being installed at the house today. No electricity from 8am.
So we're at a slight curve in the beach. There is a large group of people & dogs just ahead. I could easily keep going but my right leg is hurting a little. Been about 6months since I walked here.

Phew, I'm hit now with my jacket on. We're back at the main jetty. I hope I haven't worn out any of you. I tend to crack a pace, especially with my favourite songs on.
Be back at the car in 5mins. I'm a bit longer than I expected. It'll be a quick shower.
