@Bunniekinsthanks. I know I should be grateful that I have family around because I know a lot of people, esp on here, will be spending the day alone and do not have family around. So I feel guilty for complaining about it. But, besides hubby and the kids, I would rather just be by ourselves and then I don't have to plaster a fake smile on my face

@Former-Member I can understand that ... the best thing about being divorced is I dont have to go to my exs family festivities as they have a HUGE family and I always hated it. Not that suggest you get divorced but it was one of the big pluses that I felt after the divorce went through.

Just think it is one day ... only one day ...

@Former-Member I love that scene out of Jurassic Park (I think it was) where someone says 'In one hundred years who is going to care'. One of my favourite sayings. I try not to worry too much .... I will tell you something funny ... I can't one day maybe. Just keep smiling NellBell.
