RE: Darkness surrounds me

I dont need to vent im just upset at whats happening and because im not power of attornory or anything i cant do anything @Former-Member

My nan was really happy to be in a nursing home to start with. I havent even been able to see her because i cant handle it. Anyway they use to take care of her now fk me my aunty came over from just visting her in tears because shes depressed. Shes 97 yr old and have already been told ahe doesnt have long left. My nans saying no one cares and heres the reason and i dont bloody blame her. She doesnt get to go outside, she was having heart troubles the other day and it took them over an hr to come and see her, she hasnt had her dentures cleaned for a few days, they dont help her with the tv even when she asks they have since changed her to see a wall and a wall not even outside view, she had a drink sitting there from this morning because shes to weak to lift and hold things and thr nurses dont help her, the buzzer they put behind her so she couldnt even reach the buzzer. This has been going on for at least a week. My mother or auty visit evey week or so as well as other family members so she has company but in the hr they are there they are the ones helping but when they leave? it's really upsetting. Im writng an official complaint and so is my aunty, mums going in there and she will yell at them but shes also putting in a complaint as well.
Theres no way she shoulf be treated that way. I dont care if she was in her 40s and fit as a fiddle she needs more care more than ever now. She needs the 24/7 care which is the reason shes in there. The poor thing has wet herself a few times because they didnt come and tend to her and as you know as you age less bladder control. She wept to my aunty saying she held it in for as long as she could and she sat there in it for abit.

Its made me very upset so im putting it to good use and writing the complaint while its all on my mind. @Former-Member

Its appalling @Phoenix_Rising how the heck can people treat others like that. They are there to get help with their mh not made worse.

@outlander,I worked in one for three months cleaning ,not enough hours and hated it.They are all mostly private organisations after money at the end of the day.Seen many staff not last long because they wanted oldies showered in so many minutes and they employ people who aren't qualified.They lack staff,as they said on tv once,childcare centres and schools have so many teachers per kids, nursing homes have little regulations.

Its silly @Former-Member so many services and nirses looking for jobs but dont put them in nursing homes?
