@outlanderI think its about someone struggling with their confidence in having a realtionship. So they overcome their fears of talking and decide to break the "silence" that has trapped them up until now.

that was one of the thoughts that i had as well. the other was that we acknowldge that we need help but the constant battle and the violence in our heads and within ourselves has stopped us from doing so and really we are afrai to do so. a sign that we have lost hope in ife so we keep silent and do nothing.

the only peace we get is accepting that we have given up on hope.
