Try and offer yourself some of that amazing nurturing mumma you give to your kids. I can appreciate you feel as though this toughness is all too familar and on repeat, I really wish we had magic wands to help 😉
Offering yourself some kindess and trying to keep things minimal with lots of support around you when you can. It's been a huge week. Can you think of any distractions you might be able to try? Painting your nails, watching something on tv, listening to a mindulness exercise, taking a walk around the block?

That is the abyss talking @Former-Member ..... you were a child, at both ages, and not responsible in any way for what happened to you ..... those inner children deserve the most gentle and loving kindness you can find for them ..... please slow us to help you nurture them that way when you don't feel strong enough to do that for yourself ......

@Former-Member i know what tou mean by saying its your fault. Its bery common among us csa people and tbh i still get like that but at that age tou werent even fully developed. You didnt know right from wrong. At the age of 8 you were only just getting use to being able to talk in sentences properly. At 14 again still learning and because like me it was a 'normal' thing you didn't question it. But i can promise you that none of this AT ALL was or is your fault.

Beautiful words from @Faith-and-Hope and spot on, that wounded and hurting inner child needs some protection and compassion. Have you got the kids this afternoon? Maybe it could be a movie afternoon where you all hop on the lounge and cuddle up to watch a movie together. I'm imagaining you are tired- but not sure if that is true. Can you try and check in with yourself to see what it is you need?

@outlanderi can't say it out loud I never can, I can only write it.
Sis I wouldn't put you through that, it will trigger you and anyone else who reads it and is affected by CSA. Its not fair to put it on you.
I am struggling to see what is the use to keep trying anymore. It has just gotten too much to quick.
