@Faith-and-Hopeyou are right about my children, I know they need me, but sometimes, that doesn't even seem enough.

I understand @Former-Member ..... but in your less despondent moments, it is important that you keep reinforcing that thought, that you need to stay safe for them ..... your depression and anxiety will try to convince you that they will get over it if you were not around, but the truth is absolutely devestating ...... so reinforcing that when you can will help to establish that as a lifeline ..... it will start to matter more, as you can hear in @Former-Member's comments regarding her daughter .....
You can also hear that it is possible to reach sanctuary from the flashbacks that are plaguing you ..... and one day you will be able to say that to someone else ..... hold on therough the darkest hours ..... daylight will return to your life ......

I truely hope so @Faith-and-Hope because all other reasons to push forward are non existent now

Thank you @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member for the chat. I need to try and pull myself together and stop the tears before I go pick my kids up from school. I don't want them to see me like this. They haven't chosen this life, it is my hell and I refuse to bring them down.
Some days like today are just so hard. Just when I think I have remembered it all, new memories get the better of me. I know I can't or won't for my kids, but I just want the suffering to end. I just want to close my eyes and not wake. But I know I won't get my wish. I know I have to keep existing for them
