PHILOSOPHY

PHILOSOPHY

http://www.philosothon.org/index.html

Just curious to start a conversation about philosophy, especially the distinctions between Creative, Critical and Caring or Collaborative thinking.

I have a handout I cannot upload but this is a link to a movement for philosophy in schools which could spark discussion, if people are interested.

I think that it is a good idea to look at thinking styles and being able to shift between them rather than lobbing another label on people. It might help with various ideations.

Re: PHILOSOPHY

Hi @Appleblossom yes 'caring' thinking would be about a 'feeling' style I am thinking. I read a bit, research a little, talk with others and go on a site such as this to get other's views. I feel like an automaton at times and cannot fathom 'feeling' tho not unusual I suppose it is why I like critcal and collaborative thinking. It seems rational to me.
