Hey guys. So here's the story. I'm a 24 yo health professional with a 3 month th old beautiful boy. Before and during my pregnancy I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression but didn't understand why I continued to be violent towards my partner by screaming and crying at 4am paranoid about everything and breaking doors when he would hide in there from me. J didn't find out until 3 months post partum that I had BDP. The day I was diagnosed my partner said he couldn't do it anymore and left me. He then said he still loves me but wants me to get help but I'm scared he will use this against me in court when it comes to custody with our son. I've called beyond blue, lifeline, saw my therapist and left messages ona local hospitals psychotherapy BDP program unit etc with zero replies. I can't seem to find the support I need. Even a little regular BDP group meetin would be so nice. It would feel so great for me to link with young women as well as many others with my condition. I feel so alone. I've lost so many relationships and feel like I'll never have a normal life or have people who will want to stay .....
@Aussiej I understand what you mean exactly ! And I know what you're going trough xx have you got a good psychologist ?? Sorry if you answered that previously I have the worst memory ..my friend who is diagnosed with psychosis (also 24) confessed to me that last Saturday she wanted to end her life and I said look ... I know FOR sure that there is no way I could feel the pain she's feeling but I said Hun you think of the one or few things that make you happy right now what are they ? She said well.. my family , my bf ...you. I said we'll hold on real tight to those few things because it'll be these few things that will save your life. That's what you gotta do @Aussiej , think of three things that put a huge smile on your face even if one of them is a dream or a plan and HOLD on tight. Coz you and I are in for a big rollercoaster the shape of a rainbow where if only gets better from here because we acknowledge what we have, we are gettin therapy and in the end it WILL be ok ! If I can do it , you can too ❤️❤️❤️

I'm so sorry to hear that you feel isolated @Aussiej😞 I know this is a strange question but do you have pets ? Dogs have been known to be very therapeutic especially because their love is unconditional and they make you go outdoors ! You're a country guy so I assume you like doing outdoor stuff ??
And my ex partner is also from the country and he did a major move to a big city which helped with his depression a bit . Maybe a change is what you need ?

Used to love all things outside now when I go outside I'm a nervous wreak barely holding on to my head but I'm a city boy moved to country but don't know why really something needs to change and I guess I just need to take a step back n look at myself and change the things I want it won't be easy but I can't take the easy way that's just not me so I guess I'm gonna go give it a big go I got a great gp I talk to 2 different people a week ATM n at end oct I start with the 3rd person which is a psychologist which I have to pay for outa pocket as the public wait list is too long I would not make it
