Haha, guess anything that
ORGANISES SPACE
is part of 'spring cleaning'
Including the fridge 💜

Nice to have my photos

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

I am a bit worried that @Former-Member up coming trip will see us all take a holiday from our decluttering. I have a deadline of next Wednesday for one section of a spare room.

Feel like crying, I have a most hideous crocheted top a friend made for me that is taking space - is not properly finished and does not fit - my friend died suddenly last week.

That's a hard one @Former-Member, not a good timevto deal with the top. Maybe use it to create a tempory wall mamorial to your friend. Pin photos & bits to it and light a candle near it to remember her for a bit. Or not. She won't mind what you do with it, i'm sure she knows you love her. Take care of yourself.

BTW, when I eventually get to my parents - the SPRING CLEAN will continue down there, Big time. Mum has finally admitted she needs help with her wardrobe 😕

I gotta get up for work, got a headache. Nothing a cup of English Breakfast and hot shower won't fix lol 🐦💜🐦

@utopia - how is the table top challenge coming along?
@1stepup - have you been able to do a 15 min stint?
@Shaz51 - how is the cosmetic clear out going?

This is m front yard when I left for work this morning. Hoping its cleaned up when i get back. The tree has bora & dropping branches and leaning. What a mess! But lovely having morning son on veranda again.

On break at work, aranoid social anxiety 😧 brain crap happening (being left out), how do we stop it @Appleblossom? wish I was normal 😥

☕ over, back to work. Wish they sat with me for it 😞

Hi @Former-Member

So your Mum is in hospital now - what is the plan about this - is she having any treatment or just resting or having tests

I am sorry - this must be so hard for you

So I gather you had to come home from work sick - paranoid social anxiety - I think I would get such a conditon - or I would have - if I had kept visiting my mother but your story is different

And so - do you have another tree giving up on you when you are planning to sell up and move - maybe you need to escape from your attack-trees -

And also - so glad your son is there right now - sitting on your veranda - that must be really cool

I am seeing my daughter for brunch next week - we haven't seem each other for a few weeks - school holidays discourage us - lots of kids descend on the coffee shop and talk loudly and dd's hearing isn't the best - and my hearing is too sensitive

Really and truly I hope you are feeling better now after your cup of tea and I forget what else cures your headache - or hopefully lessens it

Thinking of you my dear friend

Dec

That’s one very big tree @Former-Member. They are beautiful but can get out of hand. You’ll be an expert at decluttering by the time you see your mum. It’s always hard though when you’re dealing with other people’s stuff.

I recall clearing out my parents home where they had lived for > 30years. So much stuff. I have very few personal belongings now. It’s quite liberating and the space I’m in doesn’t allow for a lot of things in any case.

Have a lovely time with your daughter @Owlunar.

Tough when someone passes away @Former-Member. I like @Former-Member idea though. Then you can deal with it further down the track. I still have my Dad’s old typewriter. It’s not something I would use and it’s just in a box in the garage but he enjoyed typing out letters to his siblings and I smile when I recall him clicking away at them.

Dear @Former-Member to me you are normal. With normal longings and responses to life events.

God what a tree. I idolise trees as I grew up surrounded by too much concrete, but that one takes the cake and no wonder you were battling with trailer loads. WTG Woman!

@Former-Member I have my brothers old film canisters ... weird what we hang on to ... or like @soul said ..or not ..

I am happy with new stove atm

which might spur me on to declutter, but I truly did not give a hoot about my piles of paper for a few years.
