Have messaged my son again and given him a few options - all including a meal. Perhaps that will draw him out.

I'm so glad you have your hot water running again - I lost power a few years ago - after a storm - so much of the grid needed fixing I think this area was without power for 60 hours - which I have no doubt could have been worse - I could spend the day at home with the cat but then go to my daughter's place for dinner and a shower and the night - which was lucky for me

I get it about the planes - I really do - I sorta like planes and love flying but the jets that take off from here sometimes rattle my brains - and like the go so fast they are gone before I go out and see - and it can be unnerving to hear something that has disappeared

Sometimes I don't notice the small planes until I am talking to someone or trying to hear the TV and the planes from the flying school start to fly over one after another and another and another and another - and guess what - since I started writing one has gone over - it can get on my nerves - I am not triggered by them but it can really give me a headache and I can't think

Ah - even get up get up get up get up - which is what I have to do - is too hard - bits of my brain fall into my food I think - I forget the end of my sentence before I have said the beginning -

If I was triggered - I can't imagine - but I have lived near this airport for most of my life - my parents moved away from it but moved back - I got married and moved away but moved back and I am still in the area having moved several times

I guess there is always something worse than airports but they sound bad too you - really bad - I guess you will be really glad to move awayf from it

My son was scared of the way the planes would rock from side to side in a storm - sometimes fall a bit - it freaked him out but for some reason he had to keep looking to see if they were all right - poor little kid - so much scared him

Thinking of you Lapses - so much to do - how about we both find a quiet place to just be for a while - I don't feel like passing away but I have a headache and would like to just rest in a quiet place for a while - after all while I have been typing here someone has been trimming a tree near-by

Must be tree felling day. I have put up with chainsaws outside too and whippersnippers and blower vacs.

We’ve just had an almighty storm. Thought it was going to hail. It was hot and then suddenly the temperature dropped and the sky darkened. Thunder rumbled and down came heavy drops of rain. Then as quickly as it appeared, it was gone. The earth has been washed clean but now it’s humid. At least it’s fine for me to walk to Yoga a bit later.

And I got the washing off the line before it rained.

Glad you have hot water. Hopefully no more problems. Hope this heavy mood of yours lifts. Did you get some decluttering done?

I had a guy look at my courtyard and quote me on laying some turf as it’s just full of weeds at the moment.

We had leftovers for dinner so that has made the fridge look a bit tidier.
