Great that the recliner sold. They are comfy but do take up a lot of space. I wish I knew my use by date @Former-Member. I'd live it up before then. Sounds like your son was okay either way. Noticed he didn't offer to fix everything - that would be a huge undertaking. Be careful that you don't overexert yourself. Yay for the drawers progressing. Hope you are rewarding yourself along the way for all this work you have been doing.

Got an email today from the real estate people - another rental inspection next week. Told my daughter she'd have to clean up her room and bathroom this weekend.

Will your son be interested in taking some of his things? Or does he still want them but have you mind them for him? When my daughter left to live on her own (at a share house actually) she didn't want much of her stuff at all. She's not the sentimental type.

I had to accept the loss of so much when my ex husband threw my things away. Just possessions, I still have the memories. 😥

Still haven't contacted my sister. Must do that soon. Wrote another email to my brother yesterday and got a reply. He didn't mention any of the family stuff I wrote about in the previous one.

Some good clean-ups happening, I'm impressed!

The recliner went out the door today ($50) and two ppl expressed interest in other items in passing.

I rearranged veranda and taped together the bed slats for x3 beds (heavy).

Potential buyer came through today, haven't heard how it went.

Threw out some old frames in need of repair and other things. Loaded hedge cuttings in trailer too which is full again, waiting for another trip. Trailer rego is due in 2/52 but decodrf to only pay 6/12 in case i move. Its getting too heavy to move really.

Took the spare dog stuff across the road to a diadvantaged family with two little dogs. Was appreciated which is nice.

Tx from my very excited son today - his Business Cards arrived in the mail. He's working flat out getting his IT business well and truly off the ground. So happy for him 🙂 Sent me a photo of cause. He's already started "meet ups" (introducing himself) so having a card to give will be good.

Really hot here today, getting around like a slob. Drove up a local park while house being looked at. The park had been totally done up and a wanted to rush home and bring my kidz with their Rollerblades etc, but I cannot 😞 they would have so loved it there now. Then, making it a oo hard to stay longer, a young dad turned up with his 3little ones - the youngest looked so much like my girl. Didn't know if to smile or cry. Thought I was over feelings like this, but think the packing away, and being sick has weakened resistance.
