Well I'm finally home (again). 4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time. My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time. I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final. My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon. Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed. Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night. And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away). So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning. @Zoe7@soul@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@Bast@oceangirl@outlander@Former-Member@Teej@BlueBay@Owlunar
Consider writing a somewhat polite letter, stating that having woken you up in the middle of the night, then early morning, even 9am is then obscene where usually it might not be ......
Would he mind being more considerate to the neighbours ?
If it continues you will file an official complaint ......
That usually ticks all the boxes @utopia ...... you're not getting them so off-side that they will stir you up intentionally ...... you have taken the higher moral ground and set it as a benchmark ....... your threat to take it further is undefined but real-enough sounding so they are unlikely to try to call your bluff ....... and if they do have any decency, they won't want to be considered a neighbourhood nusiance ....... hope that is helpful ......

Re: HOME
Thank you @Faith-and-Hope but these people aren't reasonable. I tried calling the police last night (they were out helping with the floods) because after I told him to stop at 3am. He then got in his car and went hooning and screaching up and down the road. I'll complain to the police and council about him tmw. The police know of him. Ohhh. Sounds like he's doing donuts out the front street.

Re: HOME
Hi @utopia - how inconsiderate. Some people can only think of themselves and having a good time at other's expense. You can take down the licence plate and complain about the noise. Might get an unroadworthy certificate and you can complain about the hoon behaviour too... the police should deal with that. I have a similar idiot near me. Drives up and down the street in his V8 holden at all hours but if there is so much as a peep out of my dogs he is banging on my door about them barking and complaining to the council with exagerrated claims about them barking at 5:00am when they don't get let out until 7:00am. He even went round the neighbourhood trying to encourage others to complain. Different when it's his dog barking all day... according to him his dog never barks. Yeah sure. Good that you said your piece - you should put it in writing too. That way he can't say that you have never complained about it. Sometimes I think it would be good to live miles out in the middle of nowhere so I don't have to put up with neighbours.

Re: HOME
@Former-Member. This guy shouldn't be living there. In a caravan in the front yard. Want the police to notify the lanlord that a tree has been cut down to fit the caravan in. So will speak to police and council tomorrow. These people don't care about others. Just into their cars their drugs and themselves. We now have a power outage. And I can't remember where I put the torch. Lol. Such a bad memory. I hope you have a good night.

Our house is dry @Shaz51. We are on stumps and up two steps. Just the yard that was a swamp but the water has drained away now.
