HOME

Well I'm finally home (again).
4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time.
My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time.
I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final.
My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon.
Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed.
Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night.
And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away).
So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning.

Re: HOME

Me too @utopia - good on you for making the effort and going along to that special day.

Hope the week ahead is a nice one for you.

I am glad you are glad you went inspite of your anxiety coming out.

It sounds really good, and those events are still often not attended as well as I expected by now. As in I have been to a few, dragged kids along, etc, or been alone like you.

I believe your presence will have touched someone without you even realising it.

Sometimes my negative self talk gets big, but I see someone who is needier than I, and try and just be there for them a bit.

Your interest in things indigenous was one of the first things that struck me about you.

Yeah, my sweating gets really out of control with my anxiety too. I slip and slide in my clothes but have started being choosier about what I wear.

I have plenty of clothes now. lol

Yeah sometimes the drink for dutch courage works. lol

Hope the couch saga works out.

@Appleblossom@soul@Zoe7@BlueBay@Faith-and-Hope

There would have been around 50 people at the aboriginal event. So was a good turn out. Had to pre-book.

Right now I'm in inner Melbourne, waiting til midday, when I get to see my psychiatrist. Hopefully will go well. Beautiful day for a drive.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Re: HOME

Always thinking of you @utopia You don't share everything that we have over the last couple of years without building a real connection - and that is invaluable to me my beautiful cocky friend

I hope your appointment goes well - and glad it is a nice day for a drive to make it easier for you to get there.

Let us know how it all goes @utopia 💜💙💚🧡💛

Re: HOME

@Zoe7 - I think I get surprised when I have a few messages waiting for me on SANE. especially as I've hardly contributed this year. I'm not sure why that is. It's not that I don't need and love the friendships on here. I do. But sometimes it's a struggle to write anything.

We remember some good times as well as struggles.

@utopia

Wish the world was a utopia .. but ... it is what it is.

DOnt short change yourself.

Re: HOME

Totally agree with @Appleblossom here @utopia - we are here with you for both the good times as well as the struggles and remember your contribution through both Hon - that matters... you matter It doesn't matter how much your contribute - it matters that you are part of the community here @utopia and that means you are thought of, loved and supported in any way you need, when you need it It is swings and round-a-bouts here Hon - sometimes you give and sometimes you receive - it takes all types to form a community and you are integral to this one
