Re: not coping

I'm sure it hasn't left your mind since you last saw them @outlander It's not the type of appt. we look forward too.

What is really worrying you about it? What they will say or do or both.

You can always tag me hun. Are you ok?

Re: not coping

ive done and tried alot of things theyve told me to do to help symptoms etc @Snowie @Anastasia and none have worked so far. She said that the next treatments might take away what chance i might have to have my own kids. ive had tests and they know its already low chances . i needed to think about how far i might be willing to go with treatments. Lifestyle, other medications both as a shorter term and longer term, Contraception-3 different types. and the rest are within the catagories ive tried/very similar so its not much use trying every single one in each catagory. my body is so confusing. it acts normal in some cases but when things are looked deeper its not.

Re: not coping

Sounds like you have lots of decisions to make and they are not easy decisions @outlander

It sounds like the treatments come with some big outcomes hun and I guess only you can make those decisions.

Do you need to give the gyno answers when you see them next or do you have more time to think about what you want?

Here with you sweetheart. I know how hard it is hearing you might never have children (I heard that too) so can understand how hard some of this would be for you.

Sitting with you hun 💜💜💜

Re: not coping

the next appt they said theyll do the ultrasound on site just to check theres no signs of infection, remove the current contraception and then go from there. im going to have to talk to them about these options and think about it.
what is scareing me the most is that i might even have to tell my mother.i dont know if some of these methods can be hidden (ie if day surgery is required) im starting to really regret ever opening my mouth about anything. my gp will say its my mh too so its no point even talking to him i honestly wish there was another female dr.

@Anastasia @Snowie

Re: not coping

I would tell your gp to go jump @outlander Just because you have mh issues doesn't mean that all these problems should not be addressed properly.

Telling your mum must be scary for you hun, does she know anything about your issues yet?

Do you mean a female gyno? Every gyno I have ever been to was male.

Re: not coping

theres honestly not many other gps @Snowie my gp clinic is trying to find another 2 female gps to replace the 2 that have moved (one was mine that never told me) as alot of patients have asked for a female gp often which couldnt be provided so the nurses have had to do some things they mightnt normally in the clinic.

no my mother knows nothing except that im lactose intolerant and i have a hernia. i think maybe 2 yrs ago i mentioned i had suspected pcos and asked if it run in the family which she said not that she knows of. im really really good at hiding my pain even when im not well. they didnt even beleive me at first that i had a concussion until the gp done the scans and said i had one.
because im public i get a mix of both male and female. usually its a male gyno but last time i had a female. id prefer that but i guess i cant always have an option. she is gentler and i requested her but i also think they do rotations as well. the last time they were were putting the iud in place they had 2 learner people in there as well as the nurse and the gyno placing it.
